If you use V-power

Does anyone know when deliveries will resume?

They resumed yesterday (10th) I did post earlier, you must have missed it.

When do you get sent the V Power Club Card?

You get sent tf after about 3months of mainly buying V-power. (150 litres per quarter is the actual min before it is sent to you)

I only fill up with vpower and have a massive backlog of points.

Have you registered the card? You can't be sent rewards or V-power cards if they dont know your details.

When do you get sent the V Power Club Card?

I want my double points!

You don't know when it's sent. I just got a rather nice letter through the post with attached V-Power Card saying they've upgraded me into the V-Power club. I would say it was a good 6 months after getting my first card and then always using V-Power.

I wouldn't say i buy a lot of fuel either. A tank every 1 to 2 weeks.

It can take ages :p

My replacement card took 10 weeks to arrive, in the meantime I just used a normal card. The old vpower card had worn down and wasn't reading on the machine :/

That reminds me. I need to change the address on mine. Strangely the website has no recollection of me ever registering...

The website is awful...just had to register again even though once i'd logged in it's still got my old address there. Weird.

Shell site works alright for me. Though its a bit cumbersome having to whip out the card to enter the number which I can never remember. :p :o

I got a letter through welcoming me to the V-Power Club after using 800 litres of the good stuff in the past quarter. Never got the new card though so emailed them and they sent me out a replacement and transferred all my points to the new card. Registered the new card as if you would when you first joined the club with the peasant card and voila.

They were also kind enough to back date my V-Power fill-ups on my normal card to double points from the point they sent out the card :)

Filled up today and noticed that on my filler flap that it says "Min 95 Ron" but underneath it says "Super, Premium, blah blah blah".

I'm confused. I used to put V-Power in my ST because i thought it would benefit from it and was going to just whack normal unleaded in my new car (Fiesta Metal) as i didn't think a 1.6 NA would benefit from the higher octane. Why would the filler cap recommend Super?

Brimmed with V-Power anyhow to see. I also like the double points on my V-Power card also. :p

An N/A vehicle can benefit from better octane fuel, not just forced induction stuff.

But thats assuming your ecu can adjust to that level of fuel, or that someone maps it on that fuel(normally run a bit more timing)

Here is an example of a standard e39 m5 running 95 ron and v-power.

Though remember this is a 4.9ltr hig compression engine, you wont expect anything like this gain on a little 1.6

As you can see there is no real difference up to 3500 rpm. After this the power curves begin to separate and also change in shape
