Thanks let me check this out tonight, it definitely displays the last picture but need to confirm the splash screen.

For those who returned to iiyama for update how long did it take and did you get any updates along the way? Mine was collected Tuesday and I’ve heard nothing
I'd give them a call or follow up email. Mine took a couple of days (Picked up Tue, returned on Fri) in the UK. I received progress report emails, but only saying it had been received, undergoing diagnostics and that it was being shipped back. For those who returned to iiyama for update how long did it take and did you get any updates along the way? Have you disabled Freesync then? I only have the option to select DP1.4 with Freesync disabled. The monitor supports DP 1.4, and I'm able to select it using the OSD menu. 5700XT user here. New firmware can be applied by iiyama's authorised repair centre only.
I am the same - after upgrading my DP cable, I only seem to get flickering in the loading screen for MS Flight Sim (haven't tried any other games), and it stops once I start playing.Reporting back:
I can confirm my monitor has the latest firmware.
my flickering issue is not present on desktop nor is it while gaming.
Using a 1.4 dp cable helped a lot with eliminating some of the flickering in menu's
the only flickering i get is when im in load screens and menu’s which is fine as it doesn't bug me much... I'm putting this down to driver related still as reverting back to 451.01 nvidia drivers eliminates this
Which cable did you upgrade to? Club3D?Have you disabled Freesync then? I only have the option to select DP1.4 with Freesync disabled.

A shame the DP cable provided wasn't enough to eliminate it, but even factoring in a new cable this monitor presents great value.
Yea, the Club3D cable too.Which cable did you upgrade to? Club3D?
I need to do more testing still but so far we’re exactly the same. Pretty annoying still but I love the Monitor

I only have the DP cable that i've been using on my dell S2716DG for years, will see how that works out tomorrow.
Ended up ordering the Club3d cable, don't want any messing about tomorrow.
