ikariam web browser game

Cool, been looking for a new browser game recently.

Started on Delta
Town: Nirvana[52:46]
Username: RenO

If is gets as intense as Ogame then i'll have to quit.

I've just sent all my workers to the mill and started building the port. Doesn't seem like I can do much else just yet ?!?!?
 
I have built everything I am able to build now without any additional building resources (I am on a wine island). Just need to wait 7 hours or so before I can build a trading post.

Well building is a good thing to research first as it gives you +50 housing space, +50 happiness in the capital which boosts your population growth.
 
Early on marble is the most useful item after wood, so if you don't have marble on your island, focus on getting some via trade. I am still stuck thanks to having none!

EDIT: Someone traded 100 stone with me! I don't know if it was anyone from here or not, but it has made a big difference!

Seems like a nice simple game so far, more user friendly in the early stages than other browser games i've played.

About to start some reasearch, will probably go for well digging aswell followed by conservation. I'm also on a wine island.
 
I attacked an inactive player with 5 slingers. I lost 4 even though he had no defense at all! Oh well. Not sure how much a have got in terms of spoils yet tho!

Edit: I got 60 wood. Not quite ideal but never mind! I shall attack with far more next time!

I got a city I made on Alpha where some level 8 dude keeps attacking me with Swordsmen and Phalanxes, but he's only gained about 40 gold and 26 wood and lost 1-2 units lol.

Managed to register on Delta so getting that island up and running, luckily I got a Marble Island + Marble Wonder :D
 
My first attack was with 5 slingers and I lost 4 when I attacked a town of size 1!
My second attack was 5 swordsmen and 10 slingers attacking a town of size 2. No losses.

This is good stuff to know, do you reckon 10 slingers could attack a town size of 1 without losses? I have 1 inactive on my island

Yup, I did. No money, but 60 Wood.

I'm sending out another attack now, this time to a level 4 town! Fingers crossed!

I did get one of my shipments rerouted. I have no idea what that means but I don't think it is good.
 
I seem to have accumulated 50 each of wine, glass, sulphur and marble overnight. Don't know how. I think I researched the first 3 techs in economy and built a warehouse overnight is there anything there that would have given me the free resources?
