I think the Mini looks best with seams.

actually after digging up that old pic of my car (the red one not the pick up lol), I now realise that it needs some love - hasnt been polished in a while!

Mic - You'd put a clubby front on it, would you? That's what the guy with the green pickup I'm talking about has done and it looks really cool.

Id defintly try the club front end, would look very sweet. Dont happen to have a pic of the green one?

I could seriously see me driving a a mini pick up as a daily driver, or even the Pop. Its only a 20 minute drive to work!

nothing wrong or unpleasant about driving a mini.

Im thinking of changing my 5 cars to mini pick up, rodded Popular, datsun 240/260z and a triumph gt6 honda Crx (shoebox)

Thats true I guess. Iv seen a couple people that seem to use them as daily drivers. Might make it a reality for myself.

A mini pickup as a daily driver would be easy - I'd love one - you'd have to be able to deal with lots of attention though - I get lots in a standard Mayfair lol.

I dont have any pics of the greeny - I stuck a flyer for MiniResource on his pickup but I dont think he wanted to join lol.

It's my 4th Mini! It's pretty standard outside at the moment - was meant to head up and get my alloys this morning but plans changed :(

It's a 92 1275 Mayfair, I've had it since August, but only on the road for about a month now due to the joys of insurance! Only 39k on the clock, pretty nippy - had a few teething problems, but nothing major. It puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it :) Stage 1 kit should be going on in a couple of weeks :D

Yeah - it's going to be an animal. The guy doing it is only 14 too :o Real sound lad though.
I couldnt believe how bad the car was, I learnt a lot when I bought that car - here it is in its glory days:

Thankfully I didnt really lose anything on the car though.

If you want to come down and have a spin in the Mini, yer more than welcome - they arent for everyone, but I love them!

There's no welding needed! It's a brand new shell ;) But yeah, he's building it with his dad - it's gonna be very very cool when it's done.

Are you serious that that was your background lol? Madness - That pic is from when I took it down to carrick on suir. It was a shed but it was cool back then and it could shift for a 1litre :o

You're welcome to take me up on that offer anytime before April or after May (if I'm still here and still have the car - 205GTI's are starting to tempt me!).

I have the ringmini videos - There are some other good videos out there such as a KAD powered Mini with 160bhp - that's a beast

Pick ups, aye.

A mate of mine in the UK has a vtec Clubby - its a beast - havent had a chance to get over to see it yet, but I cant wait to!
