Im on day 5 of my nutrition shake diet

I was running low on drinks and ordered a restock. Normally I get 7up free when on offer but they were full price, so after searching I found AG Barr ones for 90p, and initially ordered 18 bottles (maximum offer limit), but then realized they were regular sugar ones.

I had another search and found a bunch of fanta and coke zeros on 2 for £3 making them the same price as normal 7up so made a random selection of 20 bottles which was the limit on those.

Thats usually a 6+ month supply, and I also changed my regular Morrisons high juice to the no added sugar versions. And no more fruit juice.

I don't drink diet sodas daily fyi, just when fed up of water.

:(

We’ve had to make some substitutions, sorry about that.

- 1 x Morrisons Nourish Chicken Biriyani with
- 1 x Morrisons Nourish Caribbean Chicken & Rice

I wanted one of each!

Well a couple of tarts as usual when I buy, but other than that no sugar, and just a restock of fish and chips.

I'm going to start substituting my pasta and rice for wholewheat / brown rice.

I used to buy from Asda until I got some rancid vegetables on a pizza, so far nothing spoiled from Morrisons and I find their stuff tastes better too.

Is that a week's shop? Christ that's a lot of soft drinks. No offence, but no wonder you're at risk of diabetes and have heart problems with that intake in a week! Coke Zero is (arguably) just as bad as full-fat/sugar drinks but without the fat.

And as above, get some fresh food, veg fruit etc in your diet.

Is that your full grocery order? No fresh fruit or veg at all?
That might be a better place to start than replacing meals with shakes?

I actually forgot. I'd normally get a weeks worth of fresh too. Frozen veg is just as good though and I already have tinned mushrooms and frozen peas / sweetcorn / 1 each of the onions and peppers I ordered more of.

Thats like 3-6 months drink restock. I order several months apart. Its just 20 bottles max while they were on offer prices so I buy 20.

The meats go in the freezer, the drinks in the under stair cupboard.

Decent macros on those meals to be fair, look good to have in the freezer as a back up if you can't be bothered cooking or just need something quick.

The Morrison's healthy meals taste absolute crap, not just bland but you completely notice the lack of any flavour, salt, butter etc.

Had to add salt, pepper and lemon juice to make them barely ok.

The frigging Bulk shakes taste 100x better! Even just a jar of Sharwoods sauce with nothing extra added to it with some meat or beans as I normally have.

Not worth it at all over a £1 jar of Sharwoods and a stock of dried beans and frozen meats and veggies which I already have.

Just have to cook 1 Kg of chicken all at once with 2 jars of sauce cos it all freezes together, but it keeps in the fridge and lasts me for at least 4 days. No more pure butter masala heart attack marinades or adding sugar though.

Still have loads of sugar / flour / frozen butter to bet through though, was previously using it to make quiches and danish butter cookies most of the time hence the heart problems.

Halloumi burger is a reduced carb meal I have probably 3 times a week for lunch.

I will start my day with some proyo, handful of oats and seeds/ nuts.

Knock up things like cauliflower rice with chicken, prawns and chorizo for a reduced carb as well. Kids love it.

Another good carb refuel post workout is the pizza - greek yogurt and flour base. Takes 20mins to make from scratch.
