I'm sick of emailin 20+ members so here it is......MATCHED BETTING by anksta

Because you might not win and lose every hand equally.

The odds for blackjack are 48% win 52% lose (around that) so if everything goes by the odds, you get £48.

If you use the blackjack strategy table for that casino, its just luck what you end up at. On one i ended up walking away with £20 of the bonus, on 888.com i walked away with 4xbonus ($250 i got up to when i hit the wager requirements, deposited $50, got $50 and played with that to wager).

The odds of blackjack are just odds, a football match can have odds of 100 to 1 but that doesnt mean thats whats goin to happen.

If you played an infinite number of blackjack hands, the odds would eventually even out but theres no guarantee when they'll even out. I played 400 hands and I had odds more like 28 to 72 so just be careful.

Ooh nice tip, might look into that.

Just started bonusing sportingodds, in their T and Cs it looks like to get the 4 £25 bets you need to put in qualifiers EVERY TIME before you get the next bet, and you have to email them requesting the next bet on A MONDAY SPECIFICALLY, and if you miss a monday in the month that you sign up you lose out.

Is this right? Seems like either people haven't done this one or they're finally getting wise to the scheme. Or maybe you can just keep emailing for the bonus and they'll give it to you regardless.

Na that sounds right, bookies arent bothered about this, they'll give you the bonuses as long as you do what they say.

Remember moneybookies disqualifies you from certain bookies.

casino or bookies?

Whatever bonus I'm playin for, if it doesn't come in straight away I always send them a clueless email such as even though I lost my bet will I still receive the bonus? Or somethin along those lines.

Also my referal thing didnt work  Didnt make a single penny from that....

which referral? If its Quidco then it might just be takin a while to track, if its betfair then you have to get to 50 Betfair Points, log in, click my account then Betfair points statement.

Great read - thanks Anksta for the effort you've put in. Really like the system (Bookies - haven't looked at the casino one yet). I've signed up with Betfred and Betfair, and am looking for my first bet. Just realised that the Footie hasn't started yet, so it's difficult to find a lay with enough liquidity and a bet with odds of 2:1 or better to qualify for the £25 from each. What sports are you betting on at the moment - or do I have to wait until next month for the games to start again?

(Kicking myself too - signed up on the coupon at BetFred for the £25 only to find that they're offering £50 ATM - D'oh - will have to see if I can blag it!)

your welcome mate, I've explained this to a few people who've just said na cant be bothered and I can't understand why anyone wouldn't mind an extra bit of cash for minimal effort.

There are always a lot of games going on, you can normally find the liquidity on somethin with enough effort. I've signed up to a few as well only to find a bigger offer on I've missed. I know its a long way away again but when Ascot comes on there are always loads and loads of offers on.

Cool - will keep an eye out - is it worth emailing/phoning BetFred and seeing if they'll upgrade my offer (certainly think £25 is worth an email :D ) Or are they normally pretty inflexible with that kind of thing.

(And yeah - not sure why this isn't more popular - such a simple idea - We'll give you money to bet with us - cover the bet both way - lose a small amount - take the free cash and run :D - sounds like a nice way to to spend my time!)

erm, I dont know, its probably unlikely they'll bump your offer but dont spose you have anythin to lose by emailin them so you might as well.

I spose not enough people know about it and the ones that hear about it are always gonna be skeptical, especially if they dont put the time in to understand it.

Seems a lot of people are beginning to have a bit of trouble with the casino bonuses, its so temptin to give it a go but as people have demonstrated, there is no guarantee you'll make anythin or even stay even.

Aside from a few beginners this thread seems to have moved on a fair bit from a guide so if people can post any good bets they find or bonuses then that will help everyone along, somethin along the lines of a format like this maybe:

Bookie:
Bet Type:
Bookie odds:
BF odds:
% Retention:

I played 32 red (deposited £50, lost it ) wagered about 770

Logged into my quidco account and clicked on the 32 red link but i was already a member of 32 red so i wont get a bonus from quidco?

No I dont think Quidco is bothered about that, like if you went through the tesco link or somethin I think you could do that everytime you bought somethin providin you werent takin the michael.

Wow - that was a painful learning curve! Finally finishing my first 2 bookies on matched betting (six bets later - don't ask) it looks like I'll be up a grand total of £6.52ish :p

Learned a couple of lessons the hard way that I've seen highlighted in this thread before - but I may as well share my stupidity with you as it might save someone else my pain:

1/ Make sure you bet / lay on the same fixture (d'uh) - but easily done!

2/ Beware of baseball - As was pointed out earlier, if the lead pitcher changes your BetFair bet will be stopped leaving you exposed.

3/ Free bet: Make sure you bet with the free bet, and not your own money, for the 2nd bet. Not as obvious as it sounds as you have to select 'use free token' or similar when you place your bet and it's easily overlooked (Hence 4 bets with Betfred - all of them cash out of my pocket :( )

4/ Beware the Bonus Bagger: A run of bad luck can wipe you out if you bet too high on each hand - this should only be done if you have the patience to play at £1 or £2 per hand (could mean 2500 hands required to win £250 for example)

I'll add more as I fall foul of them :p

Unlucky a lot of them, still, I bet you don't do it again.

Next time, if you win at the bookies, withdraw all the money out of them, leavin only the bonus in there, that should stop you bettin your money needlessly.

Cavemanoc's first error sounds a very careless one but be careful, you stand to lose a lot of money this way and it is much easier than you think to do, I've done it a couple of times now, won 2 lost 1 and its somethin I dont want to risk again.

Sometimes different outcomes have the same odds, the one I messed up was the away win and draw were both 3.5 and the opposing layouts on betfair and the bookie threw me out in a rush. So just watch out.

this may be too good to be true (sort of)

anyway, Stan James £25 sign up / £25 bonus

1 bet, then SNR on your freebet

But they have Man Utd to back @ 1.17, Betfair will lay Man Utd @ 1.17

minimal loss on your qualifer, gives you a bit more for your SNR bet ... so to speak.

nice bet but odds that low might not qualify for the bet

mehuk said:
If im right...

When using your money (qualifier) go as low as you can on odds
On your free bets you want as high as odds as possible - and for them to match out at 90% on the calc.

It doesn't really matter with the qualifier bet, the only reason you go higher odds is because the difference between the odds is the same on low bets as it is high but on the odds they are relatively speaking, a lot closer together, e.g. 2 and 2.3 is an 87% retention whereas 5 and 5.3 is 94%

*Goes back to read page 1* :o

soz mate that sounded more confusin than it is.

Pho is right, with the SR bets you can use lower odds and still come away with reasonable profit. With SNR though you have to use higher odds to come away with anythin significant as whatever your winning is effectively minus the bonus, therefore you want to win as much as possible i.e. with higher odds.

Smokes, what kind of numbers are you talkin about?

I dont mean earnings, more along the lines of how many bookies and casinos etc. have you done? I think its important when other people are askin about what they're chances are etc. to know that the amount of times you've done these is relative to the amount of accounts you've had closed etc.

Arite guys, I cant take all this peer pressure and have succumbed to doin Yukon Gold Casino but only as it seems to be risk free, I doubt I'll do anymore unless I win a fair bit on this.

I've joined and deposited £50 but what game should I play? Probably gonna play blackjack but not sure which kind to play, anyone point me in the right direction?

Cheers

Couldn't be bothered waitin for a reply so just played single deck, found a relevant strategy chart, played 10 hands, balance on £46 so I bet it all on one hand, and won! balance went to £92 so well chuffed, cheers whoever it was who suggested this casino.

Took me about 5 minutes as well. Definitely recommendable.

o *************** I won £60 on VC, put £50 on 32red and it was set to £10 hands lost it like instantly because I didnt check what I was doing  I put £50 in and wagered that and was a few £ up on that I kept it going to get a bit more and just lost that too. So now in total I have lost £40!!!!!!!!! Man I give up on this it aint worth the hassle and I should have quit when £60 up 2hrs ago

sucks that mate but dont say you weren't warned, aside from a few exceptions, there is no guarantee at any casino and the minute you start chasin your losses the casino has got you.

How much you made from MB'in it up?

Example - I did this yesterday/today...

Bet £50 at coral using SUN50 code, matched at betfair

Back odds - 2.375, lay odd - 2.38 - Lost £1.58 of MY £50

Coral added £50 as soon as I bet, but I needed to wait to see which side "won" (Betfair won in this case - PERFECT)

Today I back Chelsea at 1.80 and lay them at 1.80 - all with the *almost* free £50 bet. This will lose me £1.14 of my money.

Total money in £50 + FREE £50 = £100-£1.58-£1.14 = £97.28 (£47.28 PROFIT) and my 'loss' of free bet?? ~2.5% BARGAIN!!!

good bet that mate, well done, gutted I did Coral for a 10er, did you go through quidco as well? Thats another 30 quid

Total so far:

Casino - 615
Matched - 171

Total 786

Not bad in under 2 weeks :)

Very good that mate, had you done anythin like this before this thread?

Does anyone know of any similar casino bonuses to the Yukon Gold Bonus?

I've lost money twice on casinos so very wary about givin them another go unless they are refund offers.

Nope, you introduced me to this world' and im glad you did :D

William Hill is probably the best start, you bet the bonus before you use your money - so if you bust out 50, then you can stop if you fear dipping into your balance

I hope you read about the 20% commission part then.... :D

Na messin, well done
