This and one other thing is the first bad thing I'm hearing about it. The other bad thing which well seems bad to me at least, is on the G-Clamp desk mount, the arm wobbles about in there. Now granted I don't have a mic attached yet, but it's like it's missing a piece to make the fit snug and secure in there.

The through desk mount, is perfect, however.

I'll be using the G-Clamp mount for a number of weeks until my new home office/gaming nerd cave is all setup, so I'll soon find out if it's an issue or not. :)

I ended up going with the Blue Compass instead. Much nicer!

Just need to really play with that tension screw in the bottom to stop it flying up.

What will it be used for? I was trying to justify a 2TB one but can't honestly think how I could use that speed (other than benchmarks and testing copying data to another M2 drive of similar speed)
Suppose it's similar to 1GB down/1GB up fibre, it's great to have but did I really need it, no. Was lightning at downloading porn though! :D

I am currently running 2 x SSDs that are 256GB each (1 x Samsung 860 Evo and 1 x OCZ Trion)

1 drive is down to 10GB free (thanks to Modern Warfare taking up 185GB installed) and the OS drive was down to 100GB as had to move some games over so I needed more space.

I know this was more than the normal SSDs (£135 for normal and £180 for the NVME) and the cheaper NVME drives all had issues with speed dropping loads once the caches where full ( Intel P600 and Gigabyte NVME).

to save hassle and having to replace anything later on down the line I just got this instead.

Ah I didn't know about that one! I would have been very tempted as I prefer the aesthetic design of it. Looks nicer IMO! :)

Ah well, if the rode goes wrong, I know what to look it :p :D

Windows 10 takes about 15GB. Could go back to Windows 3.11 :p
Games will only get bigger. COD MW is only so large because of all the different textures and objects, of which there are a lot. There are not super high res (4k) either so i expect games to come out needing 250-350gb soon enough.
Storage is cheap enough anyway

No brainer then really. I was thinking of getting one, if only to save space in my case. But then its an early m2 slot that’s PCIe 2x only, would need an adapter aswell to get the full speed (or new motherboard)

Pffffff. 4 games per TB. No thank you. You say it’s cheap but if you going to be installing games like that then no it’s not cheap. No where even close.

Yeah, you could always get the drive and then benefit from the speeds if\when you upgrade. I used to have the same SSDs on an X58 board and could only get to 250mb read and write due to the controller being an early sata 3 ports (had a Marvell controller) but then got full speeds when upgraded a year ago.

Happy with the speeds and the drive.

Its insane as if you need to re download the game due to corrupt files or because of issues with it you then have to wait ages if your broadband speeds are not too great

Bring back the days of multiple DVDs, CD or games on 25 floppy disks... no thanks.

I would much rather whilst downloads continue at 1.2GB/min. Anyone remember the good old days of installing Windows 95 from floppy disk!!??

I''ve got this keyboard - had it for 14 months now - I love it every single time I use it. Not great for gaming mind, but for productivity and to work its an utter delight :)

Is exactly why I rock 2 keyboards. You need clear roles for each, the Microsoft Modern with TouchID is my productivity board of choice and like the k780 it's amazing to type on. Then for the gaming you don't need to look any further than a Ducky :D
