Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Recently bought my first home after years and years of saving.

Congratulations mate! Super job!!!!!!!!

Thanks all, blown away by how big this thing is, will be good to wall mount it as the TV stand is too small for it really.

@Gibbo you'll love the TV I'm sure of it!

The artwork came from https://afremov.com. The guy is dead apparently but the art is still for sale.

I've been suspicious that they probably weren't actually painted by him all this time, but per painting I have the cost wasn't too big, and at least "someone" has painted it rather than being a print.
Seriously cheap for prints that big. Even if you just started out you'd charge more than that! I'd be interested to find out how they're made as it won't be a quick process. And having them on sale when he's passed away seems odd.

They are a steal for oil paintings even if the artist maybe just put one bit of paint on it and signed them.

How many people buy their first home outright? Especially after years and years of saving! :p

Well he may have gone down the route of saving for years (didn't say how many) to buy one outright. It was curiosity. What's the problem?
Also as it happens 2 of our apprentices at work just bought outright together.

In 2017/18 approximately 7% of first time buyers bought their first home outright. Some will have funded this entirely themselves, some won't.

Very quick little run, sorry about the horrendous squeak but the seats auto bolster in corners and my drivers seat bolster sometimes squeaks, should have turned it off for video but forgot as I enjoy the free hugs the car gives lol.

For a V10 it is very muted, but I do plan on modding the exhaust and intake a little to let the V10 sing some more, it is alarmingly fast though for such a large car and has no issues putting power down either.

I loved the naturally aspirated S85 V10 I had in my old 2008 M6, still my favourite engine to this day.

I am sure I am in a minority, but I have never got the car thing, don't own one, but if I did would be the cheapest most reliable A to B I could (and I have owned nice cars in the past, when I was younger and cared). Just seem like a waste of good money - Generally all about selling more than people need. Over-sold, over-specced, depreciate and offer no long-term value. Sorry. Appreciate for many it is a fab hobby, must be, but I have never got it.

Agree. When I got a good job I could have afforded all these great cars but purchasing a house became a bigger priority. To that end I managed to pay off my mortgage on my 35th birthday, so now have a nice 4 bedroom detached house with no mortgage! After that I did get a few nice motors.

My mate has a brand new 150k lambo yet lives in a tiny 100K semi, that makes no sense to me.

Totally agree, all about priorities. My kids came along and I was glad I had a decent house, then school fees, and the costs never end. Uni next year, could have had 5 Ferraris outright I think.
