New Mouse :)

To replace my old Logitech G900 mouse which i bought back in 2016 which is now getting pretty tatty and the surface colour has worn plus the righthand button has got harder to press down lately

I really wanted a mouse with a charging dock but i couldn't find any which i liked :(

Looks more like a transformer than a mouse :p
:D

All i can say is wow i can't believe how much better it feels to use,
All the buttons are so much nicer and smoother to use which am guessing is from not having 4 1/2 years of dust/dirt & wear

Note to myself "Don't wait for 4 1/2 years before replacing the PC mouse" ;)

Looks nice! Are those quick-change DPI buttons by the wheel? My Logitech MX performance mouse stopped working yesterday (after I totally borked up fixing the click issue) so looking for a new wireless mouse. Ideally one I can quickly change the sensitivity of (Star Wars Squadrons, looking at you...).

I believe they are quick change DPI buttons - if not you should be able to set them up in the logitech software to do this, at least you can with my G502. I'm sure Chaparral can confirm.

I just wanted to point out that this mouse is currently in a prime day deal if you are interested.

Yes there the quick change DPI buttons. These buttons were one the big reasons why i choose this mouse again..

Plus the dam thing gone on an offer today for only £65 :mad::mad:

Now a member of the 12 gang PDU club :D cheers @mrk

After the post from mrk I checked my 'surge' bar and it also doesn't have a light! Also just noticed the surge protected socket in the garage also doesn't have a light, not sure I can justify a 12 slot extension though!

But nevertheless thanks to @mrk for highlighting

Yeah I knew that years ago you could get surge protected extensions and things without an indicator whereas in recent years they all have a green light. The ones before the old ones I binned before this recent upgrade were surge protected but had no light either. I only upgraded as they didn't have enough sockets at the time lol.

You can get them with lower gangs of course not just 12

Email them asking for a refund of the difference :) Quite a few places have a 30 day policy for that

I ended up getting the G603 after seeing your post!

I just Notice that the G903 has gone back up now
I was going buy a second one for my other system but too late

The G603 doesn't have the DPI buttons i wanted and the mouse free scroll wheel button

Edit: Just looked at a G603 review and the G603 is a very different mouse compared to the G903

I had a couple of G900 and G602 before the MX Master 3 and whilst they were brilliant, the battery life just wasn't to my liking as I use the PC every day throughout the day. Also the finishing quality on the most touched areas made the G900 series wear away revealing the raw plastic colour after about 2 years. I'd have expected a much tougher surface finish given none of the MX mice have ever worn down like that.

The Master 3 seems fine for gaming however but with less DPI control or precision but it's still very good far as I can tell (I only play L4D2 sometimes and every other game is campaign based). Bonus is battery life and USB-C connection

I’m still using the MX518 from about 10 years ago, to say it is grubby would be an understatement, I think it’s growing a layer of skin :p
