Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

We did a maildrop (twice) to all the houses eligible and it really helped. Granted I only had to walk around 29 houses not 444 but it was worth it.

Good idea, I think that will be my next step. Last time I checked only 35 households had signed up for it.

A local Bargain Booze have started stocking some great beers. I've been meaning to head down over the last few months but never do. Finally got there today.

Haven't heard of S43 or Rock Leopard before so looking forward to those.

@R-evans Would be proud!

Ha, nice selection!

Weirdly I just made an order from my old local up in Leeds. I grabbed one from Rivington as I haven't tried them before and want to go camping in their grounds at some point as they have a campsite site right next to the brewery and tap house, can't think of a more ideal set up than that.

The Deya is very good, Faith is a classic (I had my wedding reception at Northern Monk) and the Cloudwater version of Trillium is very nice, I've had a lot from Trillium having friends in Boston and living in the US for a few years, they're by far my favourite brewery for IPAs. Cloudwater did a pretty good job.

Wait, hold on, I paid £23k because you decided to live somewhere with dodgy internet?

Edit: No less in a place with an average house price of 407k lol

So, imagine you feel really ill because you smoked or drank, you use the NHS and I pay my taxes. Would you like it if I begrudged you for your health care?

Oh mate come off it.

There is a difference between the NHS and some lad getting a ******* GIG A SECOND internet whilst I sit here as an additional rate payer on (up until last week) about half a meg.

Good laugh though. :p

Seems like they intend to upgrade overall anyway just appearance or in this case the priority of work done. Go to a nordic country and its all been done already, someone I know from Poland keeps telling me how backwards tech in UK is in comparison which is pretty funny :p

whats the rough monthly cost for 1.21 gigawatts of internets

Makes me sick, I live in the middle of a city and still have no access to fibre of any kind and Openreach say they have no plans to enable our cabinet despite multiple people asking.

The Faith was for my wife. A big difference between this one though and the ones we get in Morrisons. I presume they must cut down on hops for the supermarket version to hit £1 per can, whereas this was £4.50 I think.

Had 3 tonight and trying not to have another as they’re all pretty strong. The Pomona sour was unreal. Couldn’t believe it was 10%

I was a little disappointed with the Deya. Had really high hopes as I’ve looked forward to trying them for ages. Just seemed a bit too bitter for my tastes and didn’t have much beyond that. Simcoe isn’t my favourite choice though.

Equally the Rivington wasn’t my favourite either. I don’t know why I get tempted by West Coast IPAs as they’re not my preferred style, but with it being a DIPA it tempted me.

Yes I fancy Rivington camping too. We go walking (and I go running) around there often.
You can go paddleboarding on the resevoir through a local club too if that ever took your fancy.

It's not even 10pm my man :D:p

Yeah but when they’re delicious and you start after your post work run at 6pm you accept that 3 is well restrained :p

I must say I have the weirdest mindset with some things. If I go for something generic like Heineke/Birra Moretti I’ll begrudge paying over a tenner for 12 bottles. Yet was putting 4 beers in the fridge earlier thinking. “Yep. That’s £20 gone”

Gutted. My filthy old faithful cheapo larger from Aldi has been wrecked. Cracked open a can tonight and tasted like cat ****. Looked at the can and there you go, reduced to 4.5 .

Don't know why they do this. Just put the price up a little. I know I won't be buying it again.

R.I.P old faithful

Toaster/salt+pepper game on point though.

I've not had the new tall cans of Faith yet, them new 440ml cans are actually brewed for Tesco. I guess some indies got some too.

I really loved the Deya, they usually stick to New England style IPAs but this was more west coast, usually more bitter, which I loved. Does that store keep them in a fridge or a shelf? If it's a shelf that beer will die pretty quickly.

Again I've not tried a Rivington yet, so I'll be interested to see what they're like. I would say don't let a brewery in any part of England make your mind up on a west coast IPA, you need to have something from California to really appreciate the style. I've been there four or five times and am always looking for the next trip I can make over.

Speaking of beery things, Amazon sometimes have the most random deals on.

Got a few boxes of Einstok for about £7 for 12 cans. Not the greatest beer in the world but for less than £1 a can I can't moan.

Biggest purchase I've ever made by a significant distance.
