Gutted. My filthy old faithful cheapo larger from Aldi has been wrecked. Cracked open a can tonight and tasted like cat ****. Looked at the can and there you go, reduced to 4.5 .

Don't know why they do this. Just put the price up a little. I know I won't be buying it again.

R.I.P old faithful

That sucks, from recollection they're quite tasty.

I often get the Bravaria from Tesco at £1 a bottle, not terrible all things considered.

Biggest purchase I've ever made by a significant distance.

Thankfully they came along with a door and some other bits too:

Bought a solid wood table-top from worktop-express: routed, sanded & oiled it.
Bought a Fully set of standing desk legs.
Put it all together and cable tidied the lot.

Pretty happy with it!
Been standing all week in work and absolutely love it!

I've not had the new tall cans of Faith yet, them new 440ml cans are actually brewed for Tesco. I guess some indies got some too.

I really loved the Deya, they usually stick to New England style IPAs but this was more west coast, usually more bitter, which I loved. Does that store keep them in a fridge or a shelf? If it's a shelf that beer will die pretty quickly.

Again I've not tried a Rivington yet, so I'll be interested to see what they're like. I would say don't let a brewery in any part of England make your mind up on a west coast IPA, you need to have something from California to really appreciate the style. I've been there four or five times and am always looking for the next trip I can make over.

I love a NE IPA so I imagine I probably picked their worst beer for my tastes!

Is that a house alarm at the top right hand side

Don't think i know a single person that has a house alarm, Kind of crazy when just about every person car has an alarm fitted but not there houses

Are they adjustable legs? If so can I ask which ones you went for as I'm about to do the same thing.

They're motorised and uses this type of touch screen to operate:

A bit pricey, but totally worth it for me:
Legs/Stand can be found here:
https://www.fully.com/en-gb/standing-desks/jarvis-frame-only.html

It can lift 150KG, which is great... cos the worktop is crazy heavy and it can easily lift that with a 48" TV, 31" Monitor, PS5 and Received on top. I was worried about the noise of the motor and it's very quiet. I love it!

Beautiful home. Congratulations and enjoy.

Thanks very much, just got the final load moved, time to make it a home.

I'll drop you an updated address in trust in a moment :)

Can't wait to get the table set up and get the coasters out, the grinder is going to work with me too :)

It is indeed an alarm, we still need to get our heads around it but it's a fully monitored system, will be getting a decent CCTV system installed too very soon, the house is very rarely unoccupied due to my partner and I working different patterns but still good for peace of mind.

This late present will be a nice addition to the table too ;)

Probably, I started out on West Coast IPAs over a decade ago when they were the best thing money could buy, so always have a soft spot for them.

I enjoy a NEIPA and the best breweries in the UK usually focus on them, so it's what I usually drink, but more bitter IPAs are my true love, along with big stouts and sours.

Oh for sure. Sours are probably my favourite as a treat. The Pomona Imperial Manchester Tart Sour was incredible. If you ever get the chance grab a can. At 10% though it’s lethal as doesn’t taste it.
