Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Boots in general took FOREVER for me to break in. Likely months. In between my heels getting scuffed or blistered.

Don't think I've worn boots in over a decade now. So my feet would likely get destroyed again.

I’m hoping to get them comfortable within about six weeks.

Stop laughing at the back :D

Completely dodgy, uncertified Chinese knock off chargers

Why do you hate your family?:cry:

Now I have the unenviable task of breaking them in.

Do like Timberland, although my last pair I had a bit of a brain fart on my part when breaking them in. :o

I made the mistake of wearing brand new ones fairly loose, they rubbed the back of my heel raw, it took ages to heal!

I swear by Compeed blister plasters and I've bought a couple of packs of them just in case - When I put them on earlier I did only lace them up loosely but then realised quickly that was going to be a mistake so I tightened them up nicely.

Even just sitting at my desk, I was making a point of flexing my ankles backwards and forwards and I've been doing squats in them as well to help break them in. The supplied laces are horrible though, they're stiff like wire and barely long enough so I'll pop to the local cobbler on Monday and get some longer, more flexible ones.

My ex has acquired another old copper boiler the so obviously it's getting plants in it bought today after an angle grinder, so it's in the living room garden but may move to the extensively large boomer garden soon dunno, but worried about the scarp value here now, luckily no crime goes on here, much

How much did you try though? I did the same on a pair of DMs many years ago where I just wore them for an entire day and they shredded my feet. I’m going try and do these properly. Few hours a day indoors, gradually building it up.

I don’t know how people can be bothered with the hassle for a casual pair of boots. Walking/hills different story. Good luck.

Those blister plasters are almost magic!

Cheers @Feek and @Lakeland - never knew they existed. :)

Better than magic. I was wearing some new shoes a few years ago and whilst walking around town, a huge blister developed on one of my heels, it was absolute agony. I struggled into Boots, bought a pack and sat down outside the shop to put one on. It had already burst and was red raw. I put the plaster on and there was no pain whatsoever when I carried on walking. Incredible things.

Magnum boots >timberland/another other nonsense

None of this breaking in lark stick em on and your good because they sensibly put flex panels in place.

And kick plates! All comfy boots need kick plates so you can shuck em off in luxury while standing
