Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Even the highest quality hand made shoes need to be worn in. Once worn in though they last a lifetime and should give you at least a handful of resoles.

For fashion use sure. But a few months of working with anything with a kick brake and you trash the uppers q bit too much for them to look pretty anymore

I still have ent tried altbergs yet on the list

Yeah I had x2 pairs both beaten but so comfy, used to spend 10-14h on my feet in unsavoury places and they never failed. Grip was excellent so when running I had no fears about slipping like a lot of my colleagues in sub standard boots.

Defo better than any fashion brand boots but probably not something most people would wear on a night out, unless they want to look like undercover/off duty old bill!

They also do MC boots if that's your thing.

Altberg's are great and luckily for me their factory shop is a couple of miles from where I work so when I need a new pair I can just pop in to choose one.

Yes it's their motorcycle boots I'm interested in as they do a lovley hybrid walking/road boot.

I use the bike for everything my sports boots are lovley and comfortable on the bike but a bit much when walking with their squeaky hinges.

Currently using some magnums with side impact protection plate and toe and waterproof but not quite to the same standard as the albergs.

But reasonably cheap.

Was going to go to the factory for a fitting before covid kill that df

Got a key cover for my car keys and DIY'd a minifigure i've had for a long time (drilling a hole in his head and putting a loop through it lols

Epson UST Projector.

I have a 100" UST ALR screen on it's way from China but at the minute I've paired it with a cheap 120" screen and I'm still impressed with the picture. My only criticism so far is the fan noise, which at full brightness can be quite audible.

Fan noise is a concern, the 300B suffers from the same issue. I’m still on the fence as what model to buy as I have a dark man cave so could reduce the brightness. Will wait for a bit.

Yeah, my soundbar drowns out the fan noise but obviously

A decent soundbar will solve the negatives, i.e cancel out the fan noise and replace the poor in built speakers. On a side note I receive the UST ALR screen today, worked out at around £380 delivered and does actually make a considerable improvement to the image. Blacks are darker although still not a patch on an OLED.
