Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Indeed.

Each to their own obviously do what you want like :D Agreed on the Apple to Windows front, I'm exclusively Windows / Android and getting a shared Apple album onto the PC was a right palarva.
Yea I really enjoy the services that work well across platforms. Apple is great if everyone is in the walled garden, but my wife is a Pixel fan and fully Google.

Whats the reason can I ask with the running? If my doctor told me running isn't good for me I would ask for a 2nd professional opinion. I know we are to trust these professions but what is his reasons for you to ditch this?

Yeah i'd probably be similar. I find a lot of advice is more old fashioned with suggestions like that and would likely look for other options such as strength/mobility work to fix any underlying issues.

Lower three discs in my spine are knackered and trapped nerves inflame while running (particularly downhill). I've been through the NHS and private and have been told there's not a lot that can be done to resolve. I experience no pain with light strength work and cycling. It's been hard to give up running because I live in a beautiful part of the country with great trails and scenery, but it's too painful to carry on.

Thats so sad to hear, it sounds like running is something part of your life if your running solo or with friends. I hope you rest up, work on some core strengthening and do an light jog in the future and feel no pain. I would be devastated to if a doctor told me not to run. Its like the same where my 72 year old mother who has no running experience in her lift time to tell me not to run if I feel a small niggle in my legs. :o I do run with niggles here and there but nothing a bit of rest and some strengthening with some gradual increase helps resolve these.

Running is a huge part of my life, and whilst I can still get out on the bike, I just don't get the same buzz from it that running gives. I've always been able to run through the niggles, but not with this one unfortunately. I've tried 2x periods of 6 month rest, but it hasn't made a difference and the pain whilst running (and days after) is still there. Anyway, thank you, and keep on running whilst you still can! :)

Why did I not already have one of these?!

As a cyclist, I find I just can't get as far to explore so many beautiful parts of the countryside when I run. Cycling I've been to so many amazing villages and seen some great bits of the UK's countryside. Maybe as you cycle more, you'll start to appreciate it more?

Hows the 6a? My Pixel 5 got damaged by accident recently and was tempted by the 6, but im thinking this 6a could be a good replacement.

It's good, no major issues. I'm still adjusting coming from years of iOS. Finger print scanner is fine, battery life is good, camera is excellent, pixel features are very useful.

I think it would probably be the phone I would recommend to almost anyone looking for a new device at the moment...

Im due an upgrade in october when the pixel 7 is released, im thinking the 6a will be the one I go for. From what ive read, there isnt much between that and the standard 6

my last 2 phones have been google and I really rate them, especially when they can be half the price of the iOS equivalent. Baffles me how they dont have a bigger market share to be honest. They are the only Android phone i get on with though, if they were to stop making them id probably go back to iOS.
