Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Garden room looks ideal for insulating and cladding.
Yeah as much as I love the space I'll probably be splitting it into 3 - office, gym, workshed. I have space down the garden for another building though which the neighbors have done too.

I also have a pear tree so looking for good pear recipes!

Edit: I also need the roof assessed for solar panels as it's SW facing but the angle seems like it enjoys sun all the time.

Edit2: also for copious beers can you please come visit and help me suss out what to do.

Some may recall that shower head from a while back, well this one has started to fail at the rocker switch - Same as before, because the metal bearing rubs against the plastic mechanism, the mech wears out leading to the switch starting to fail:

So I will raise a refund case with Amazon about it and get that refunded. In the meantime I ordered a better specced one with a much wider head, had an Amazon voucher and there's a fiver off too so ended up being under £6 lol.

It also has those filtering balls inside and comes with 2 packs of them. The handle sn't clear so you can't see them.

Nice flow though:

used it earlier. Happy with it. The switch is a clicky non-rocker switch that internally changes between the 6 modes. So hopefully this is a better design than the other one.

What showers will that fit?

Please stop buying crap with such poor longevity. The ocean will thank you!
Even big brands have models of stuff that don't last long yet cost 3x more. Look at Karcher pressure washers as a prime example. My last Nilfisk lasted 10 years whilst friends with Karchers had at least 2 replacements in that time.

Unless you try a broad range, you never know these days how well something will last. Cheap doesn't always mean poor any more.

can we have an update on the birds shower ... what review did they give on Amazon.
recent BBC programme on energy efficient homes apparently new (human) aerator design shower head but £200.

The bird bath fountain is still going but every time I've been down to check the little birds have been on the seed feeder instead lol - Yet to capture them actually bathing but soon as I do, expect a clip. One thing I noticed is that the water height does vary depending on amount of sunlight, so if a large cloud passes by, the fountain will be less impressive until the cloud passes. Also the wind does blow the water out of the dish if there is a gust, so through the course of the day a top up might be needed. I have it sat in the middle of the garden so will rethink positioning to avoid this in future. Right now got more important things to sort out however.

Yeah £200 for a shower head is a bit extreme.

New boots, fit the new crampons well, all sorted.

Still stuck at home with covid. Cheering myself by getting the rest of the gear for my ice climbing trip.

Am I right in thinking you’re not supposed to use these with a combi boiler? I’ve looked at them before and they seem like a good investment

COmbo boiler here no issues, it is electric showers where some heads like these will have issues. So if you have an electric shower then check compatibility. Otherwise let loose!
