You just need chloroform, duct tape and a balaclava and you're sorted

This is the first time I've used a phone without a screen protector, the oppo finds qhd+ screen is so glorious I didn't want to compromise, it's still absolutely free of micro scratches and it's been dropped onto a gravel path but I do use the supplied clear case also USB c dust plug
My previous huwawi mate 20 pro was a total mess so the oppo gorilla glass must be a better version
Dropping the phone was when I forgot I had yoga pants on twice,I am usually careful about having a grit sand free pocket

What is this dust plug please?

Same story here but S22+. Still suspicious that I'm just being lucky lol.

It was the second hand phones that made me adamant I would get a screen protector :P The one I grabbed really feels super smooth, I'm very pleased with it.

I was debating getting one of these, but I saw someone else mention they use the magnetic power cable instead which doesn't seem like a bad shout. Think I'll grab one of these first though.

Exactly what I wanted to do with the magnetic charging cables, someone else on here said they protect the port and are convenient for charging but I'm not sure if my phone will charge full speed with them so might just get one of these

I've tried a few of those magnet charging port / cables. Charged slow and got very hot. Got rid
Don't know which one you used but I got this one recently and it's great.

MoKo Magnetic USB C Adapter, 24 Pins Type C Connector Female to Male Extender Converter 100W Fast Charge Support 10Gb/s Data Transfer 4K@60Hz Video Output for Laptop, Mobile Phone, Silver Gray https://amzn.eu/d/giXqTye

Using it for my laptop and its transferring 60W just fine. Strong magnets too.

Thanks for this, never thought of an adaptor and means I can use the original cable. Does it ever come out accidentally and does it work well when the phone is in a case?

NP.

It will work on a case, just depends if you have enough clearance.

It's a good secure connection which needs a positive tug to remove it.
