Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I've been meaning to replace my ancient Ring spotlight cam for a while, and whilst browsing Amazon for stuffs I don't need, this popped up for 99 squids..

The main benefit is that it's hard wired, so no more charging and replacing batteries, plus no monthly subscription, but I'll need to drill a through the bedroom wall to run the power cable to it (no biggie).
I fitted a power cable/plug to it tonight and had a play, and so far so good.
The spot lights are superb and are needed as I live down a country lane with zero lighting, and looking at the footage taken, the video quality is decent.
I was tempted but I guess it's more functional than pretty? Looking to light up my outside patio (and I need a camera).

I wouldn’t call it pretty, but functional it certainly is, and the app is no nonsense and easy to use.
I’m going to get another for the rear of the house to replace a crappy solar PIR i currently have as it’ll light up quite a bit of my garden and there’s no batteries to fail after 12 months.

One thing that is frustrating about this is that the motion detection for the light is separate to the camera. Whilst you can set the motion zone for the camera, you can only adjust the sensitivity for the light triggering. The light is a fixed 180 degree motion range, so if I go in my garden it will trigger the light, despite me being way off to the side of the Eufy. It’s almost as though I would need to tape over the sides of the motion sensor to narrow the detection window. Just something worth bearing in mind.

I didn't exactly buy this but my local charity shop manager, text me to ask me if I wanted it! With it being a sausage dog I had to have it!! Lol!

Except when I went to pick it up, he said I didn't have to pay anything and he would give it to me for free, which is super kind and lovely of him!! :)

I've got one of these. I like it, but it does have a bit of a knack to it. For stuff to be proper 'cupboard dry', you have to set it to dry most stuff on cotton, "dry level" set to 3, and then when it finishes, open the door to let the hot moist (ooh er) air out, clear out the filter, and then set it off again on another 30 mins "time dry".

If you work out a way of getting it done in one cycle, lemme know!

I love that they advertise that you get "free local storage" like that is a marvellous feature that you would normally pay for. I assume that means it will store footage on a NAS or something similar. Well I would bloody hope so!

Why does your washing machine suggest you can plug in headphones? (to the left of the QR code). Will it have conversations with you?
:D probably engage with me more than other members of my family!

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I have heard mixed feedback on how well they dry and how long they take, and how sensitive they are to dirty filters. I am at peace with that as my plan is to maximize night right for the washing machine -> bung it into the dryer in the morning -> leave it for as long as it takes. So one wash a day.

If it needs that maintenance in between though maybe I should have put the extra 80 quid for the smart version lol!

Nice, did you listen to the original? Wondering how they compare, as I'm tempted..
No sadly I didn't get to hear the original, I avoided it due to not having battery protection.

I absolutely love this thing, it's in the top 3 audio devices I've ever owned, along side the CD Walkman and 3rd Gen Classic iPod, the sound is sublime, also it's such a versatile device, having two headphone outs you can just set it two 2v and use it as a DAC in your chain feeding two devices, I have one line out going to a headphone amp and one going to a hi-fi stereo amplifier, this is very handy as most DAC's don't have two line outs, another handy feature is it goes into 'desktop' mode to protect the battery if you keep it plugged in which the Mojo 1 can't do, so the Mojo 2 can work as a full time DAC in your system, then if I go travelling I just just unplug it and I've got a mobile headphone amp that easily compares to my desktop setup, and there's cross-feed and the lossless EQ, really is amazing device.

It has 4GB internal storage.
