I was thinking of replacing my cheap corded plunge saw to this but the latest 36V makita skills saw work as a track saw as well and I can't decideHow could I forget...

Yeah there are 3rd party 3D printed adapters too, I got one for my brushless trimmer/router to work on the same rail.
