Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

A good bit of kit for my electronics hobby and DIY. At hope measuring 1000 volts (think tube amps) down to 0.01 mV for sensitive electronics. Normally 50,000 counts but this also will do 500,000 count mode giving that extra digit. Fast too! Also will detect frequency up to 100KHz. Its sensitive that it pics up the ~1.5V 50Hz field just being sat near electrical cables. Also can measure uA too.

Accidentally picked up one of these max white toothpastes a while back. It's a lot of money to have your gums burned and have the skin slough away.

Rank.

nice piece of kit - Thermocouple option caught my eye for espresso machine application , looks like you export/view dynamic data on a PC/phone -
it's a https://lygte-info.dk/review/DMMBrymen BM869s UK.html ?

Was going to buy some winter or all season tyres for my x5 but due to the stupid size of the rims, they were going to cost close to £1800 for the set and then these cropped up locally. 4 x OE 20" 748M alloys with Bridgestone Blizzak winter tyres with 7 to 8mm tread complete with TPMS valves for £1800 allin. Will make buying new tyres next time even cheaper and can then sell n when I dont have the car anymore.

Yes, it's a Brymen 869s. It comes with a thermocouple too. I ordered the 86x series case too just to keep it neat and tidy. You could probably pick up a cheaper thermocouple capable DMM but this one was happy getting zapped with 5kV but it also got zapped with 15kV  Joe Smith's YouTube channel is great - there's also a multimeter comparison xls on eevblog (under test equipment).

In short although it may blow a couple of components at 10kV.. but they guy modify it slightly and gets to 14kV!

Is this the Bond Octopussy Casio?

I remember an offer around the time of the film, an original Octopussy digital watch which played the James Bond theme.

My parents collected loads of tokens to obtain (Walkers Crisps?), I am sure it was a Casio/Timex but for the life of me I have never been able to find it again.

Love the way the totally unnecessary outer packaging is recyclable. Why not just NOT have it. Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Hope your teeth are lovely and shiny :-)

Thank you, I’ll have a browse although only seeing up to a size 8 for those boots but will look properly later!
Opposite to me -I am size 6 and smallest is usually 7's

They will make a world of diffence -Hope you get to use them in ernest. In all the years I have had mine we have only had snow once and it made them worth every penny.

I live in the countryside and at highish altitude so we tend to have snow/bad weather often in winters. In fact we used to hold the record for the largest snowfall in 24 hours in England, something like 1.2m. And that was on top of days prior and after of heavy snowfall.. Back in the days when we got proper winters!!!!!

They will be better in the wet and sub 8C temps anyway even if we dont have much snow this winter.

But quite often in winter we can have a good 4 inch of snow at home and work 30 miles away has had no snow what so ever.
