Yep that's the one. Its sooo much better than the old UI, I've been on the beta for a while and I can't go back to the old layout!Yes that's the fancy splitscreen UX update for whatever screen size you have right, basically like how reactive websites tailor-fit to whatever screen you have. It's from version 8.5 onwards which released not long ago. I'm on the latest build of that![]()
Sounds tough mrk, pm me if you need to talk hun xI've yet to figure out how to just full screen a single app like Google maps though, need to watch a few videos I think. At the moment i have the Spotify screen on the left, and the bigger screen showing maps on the right with the toolbar far right. If I tap the spotify screen then it swaps place to be bigger and maps goes to the left and vice versa. But what if I just wanted to let songs play in the BG on SPotify and just have Maps as the only screen showing as opposed to two splits?

The solution is simple, although not as intuitive as we would like. Must tap on the Google Maps icon on the taskbar. This button toggles between Google Maps split screen mode and full screen mode, with nothing on the side. This shortcut is only available for Google Maps and is not even possible in other navigation apps like Waze, at least for now.
Got this for an absolute steal but the bloke said it needs looking at, he wasn't wrong if you look at the bottom picture and know what you're looking at.
I had to redo 10 plugs.

@R-evans Im looking to get some bulbs for our echo dot/alexa, this is our first ever one and Im not 100% sure if I have to get certain ones, any advice? Going to have two in the living room! Do they also work with the lamps?
No time to figure stuff out, it just needs to be logical and work dammit!I can't believe you hadn't figured it out.
Disappointed meme
The newer Hue bulbs are Bluetooth as well nowadays - I ordered these for £16 (£8 a bulb) but they're slightly more now.Usually they'll say Alexa compatible so any of them will be fine. Bluetooth bulbs are easiest as they don't require the need for a hub to control them so will just link straight to your speaker, although some features might be missing without the hub. Depending on the Echo you have it might be compatible with Zigbee too so you'll have that option.
As long as you get the correct bulb to fit your light/lamp it will work. Philips Hue are considered the market leader but can be quite expensive, I have 20+ bulbs from them now and have always grabbed them in Amazon deals with Echo devices or other deals I have seen around. As long as you keep an eye out you can get them pretty cheap, I have saved several £100s doing it that way.
I don't have any experience with any other bulbs but I hear the Ikea ones are OK for a decent price if you want to test the water without spending a fortune. If I were you I'd jump on the deal I got, currently £36.99 at Amazon which is a bargain.
Not been in the car for a few days but phone has updated to Android Auto 8.6 now so maybe it's a change in this version or something. Will check soon as these features are dictated by the car's screen size and the version of AA on the host phone.I noticed today on mine I can just tap the map to make it 'full screen' does yours not do that?
