Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

My Loxjie A30 integrated amp has gone back because the optical input stopped working (displaying 'no signal') so of course I decided to spend another £200 and add a DAC and power amp to my PC desktop setup.

It does sounds great. Hopefully this kit lasts OK.

I'm making my own bacon (for want of a better description), so needed something to slice it.
I've a pork belly that's been curing for a week or so and will have a go later after I've had a few beers.
What could possibly go wrong  ..

Did you get all the blade options? I found cutting cured meats difficult with the serrated blade on teh Andrew James equivalent of that. Andrew James were selling it with a plain unserrated balde which is what you may need.

I have a suspicion that serrated blades are compensating for something on domestic slicers.

I've used a commercial slicer in the past and seen other models always with a plain blade.

Maybe it's because of suspected sharpening regularity or motor power?

I got a plain blade and serrated with it.
It seems the trick to nice slices is to semi freeze the meat first (which I did).
I have to say it’s all been good so far using the serrated blade.

Freezing will totallly help. Of memory serve I think it was my home made proscuttio that was the worst for not playing nice with the serrated blade.

My dear mother needed a new phone, so a new 14 pro was purchased..

She got my old 11 and I had the 14 pro, duh :D
Hope she likes her new old phone.
I ordered couple of pieces of furniture from ginnys com for the kids room after reading all their reviews here https://ginnys.pissedconsumer.com/review.html.
They have a lot of great items ( or at least they look great online), now i just hope that the quality is decent too.

EE annoy me with their pricing but then every time I bring one of our O2 or Voda devices home the performance is... not great. Weirdly, on O2, I get great measurement throughput but the actual experience makes me wonder if they're optimising for benchmarks *dons tin foil*.

I'm leaving them for the first time since they existed. Ridiculous raise in contract price and I have literally no signal anywhere near my home. O2 has great signal here so I'll find someone on their network.
