Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Weedkiller with glyphosate. The old RoundUp we used previously has removed the glyphosate and it's basically useless.

What are the mixing instructions? I think the last time I used glyphosate based weedkiller, I used 100ml per litre - from memory, I think I also doubled the strength too, so the instructions may have said 40ml per litre.

Add a drop of washing up liquid to your mix when you make it up. I'm told this can help break down stubborn weeds.

What are the mixing instructions?
Remember this is the 360g/l strength so I think it's the strongest that's available for non industrial use. The instructions say to use 24ml/litre so I was going to double that to 50ml/litre.

Good friend of mine bought me a Wind X98 mechanical keyboard with Durock sunflower switches, the keys are on loan until I get my own, amazing keyboard, weighs an absolute ton, sounds amazing to type on, very nice dense thocky sound, very impressed by the Durock sunflower's for the price, they come pre-lubed as well, if you like a switch with a good tactile bump I highly recommend them coming from cherry browns.

My Corsair H150i Elite LCD AIO has been a bit funky for a while, and last night the pump failure warning came up.
So in anticipation of a drawn out RMA, I got one of these to tide me over..

I spoke to Jeffs guys this morning and they tried to contact Corsair for the RMA and couldn't get through, and surprisingly (having had it for 7 months) offered a full refund.
So i'll get the newer Corsair version of the AIO and send the Peerless assassin back.
Sadly it won't be from OCUK as as usual they're more expensive than everyone else.
I do keep trying to get stuff from OC but they never seem to be competitive :(

The sugar content of oat milk was recently mentioned, this was a valid point, so this is on a clubcard deal at Tesco's so............

With me taking on the flat to myself this week and therefore re-assessing room usage... I've finally pulled the trigger on a standing desk -

It was banned in the EU from the end of last year but we’re allowed it in the UK until the end of 2025. I think a lot of companies that sold it per-mixed have just stopped using it because they sell their range in Europe and the UK so it’s easier for them to just have a single range.

Assuming this works as well as I hope, I’ll stock up.
I did not know this. I'll be stocking up then.

This and weedol / verdone are my go to for non lawn / lawn weed killing respectively.

Love the ire from the environmentalists above, they're always fun people; clearly with too much time on their hands though.

Oh aye mate whacking chemicals on my lawn is peak fun that I try and squeeze in around writing to the council about lack of public toilets and pot holes

I only get dandelions and they do good things apparently, ok so I mow on no2 and chop heads with the grass when I mow but they go when they go, I would hate the stress of a manicured poncy lawn tbh.
My only maintenance is once a week mow with the cutting box never on

Before branding me an eco warrior though I am torn between the Stihl or husqvarna strimmer for the sides, I have motomix with my Stihl hedge cutter so maybe stick with them probably need to head to homes and gardens forum
