Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Not something I buy all the time as I do fresh more but will chuck it in some wraps with salad and hot chili sauce tomorrow

You wouldn't happen to be a vegan, would you?

What? Vegans actively seek the carnage that was (and still is for non-vegans) donor meat?
Come now, greasiness and crispiness are universal delicacies :p

FWIW doner meat was the first meat I craved while I was vegan after about 18 months. Dunno why I managed so long without wanting meat. I should remedy this and get a doner.

This crap even has to have a desperate plea on the package for someone to cook it

It's been reported that some companies are reducing their vegan lines due to poor uptake by the consumer (generally seems to be meat substitute lines)....

Seems the consumer wants meat to, you know... be meat, who woulda thunk it

I'm a self-confessed yellow sticker shopper. I can't walk through a supermarket without a cheeky look to see if anything interesting is in the bargain fridge. I do this because I get to try loads of things I wouldn't normally consider and I've discovered quite a few gems as a result (as well as a few munters).

One thing I can set my watch to though, is that every single day without fail the fridge is stuffed with vegan and vegetarian stuff that nobody wants, but has to be on the shelves otherwise they'll squawk from the mountaintops.

Saving the planet my ass.

Problem is the price. They were expensive enough before cost of living increases, now it's just stupid. Even at yellow label prices I'm not interested. They've lost the conscientious market, gonna have to rely on the real vegans to prop them up.
