Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I can highly recommend screen savers to those looking to get a Smart watch, or those who already own.

Twice this year I've had heart sinking moments, when I notice a crack across my Vivoactive to discover it is the thick screen saver that has twice saved the day.
Can second this (assume you mean screen protecters...) i've been through a few so far :)

I've crashed numerous times with my 745, no protector and not a mark on the screen.

New camera body time - in retrospect I should have kept the old body to take a photo of the new body..... but what you going to do?

My take on this is that screen protectors are more fragile than the glass used on quality devices. I stopped using screen protectors a couple of phones back, I've had a Samsung Galaxy S9 for 3.5 years and it's in good nick. There are two marks on the glass from specific incidents but wear and tear is minimal. I abuse my phone a lot too.

Need a protector for your protector so you can protect while you protect

The Americans will declare you an axis of evil and invade before tea time

Re: Screen Protectors

The screen protectors I use on my Garmin are quite thick and have appeared as a crack when damaged. There may be no chance that the actual watch face was damaged, but that is a chance I'd rather not take.

I’ve had two Garmins over the last 3 years, never bothered with a protector and no marks at all on the screens.

I wear it 24/7 and knock it on all sorts too.

I’m either lucky or the screens are durable enough on their own.

No, i think their screens are just high quality. My old one was absolutely fine, despite being worn for almost 4 years and taking numerous tumbles in rocky mountain areas, and being used doing all kinds of DIY. The outer bezel was a little marked, but nothing like i'd have expected it to get.

I presume they know the environments their watches are made for and build accordinly, which maybe doesn't apply to the more "smart" smartwatches
