Previously had a 3 HR with sapphire screen which took an absolute beating and not a mark on the screen, 7 months into owning a Tactix 7 pro and its got a lovely scratch straight across the Sapphire glass, not been knocked or abused, bezel is unmarked, apparently there's and anti reflection coating over the Sapphire which marks easyNo, i think their screens are just high quality. My old one was absolutely fine, despite being worn for almost 4 years and taking numerous tumbles in rocky mountain areas, and being used doing all kinds of DIY. The outer bezel was a little marked, but nothing like i'd have expected it to get.
I presume they know the environments their watches are made for and build accordinly, which maybe doesn't apply to the more "smart" smartwatches
