Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Nowt wrong with that bud, didn't know if I was missing something obvious or not ha

Too much spare time browsing ebay :D :o

No idea how actually rare they are in NI though, while I've had loads of Scottish notes pass through my hands over the years I've never had an NI one.

iPhone 15 Pro Max to replace my 14 Pro, as I fancied a bigger screen.

Was actually going to ask about socks.
The ones with toe holes are better than normal socks?
In my opinion yes. I need to wear them as I wear fivefinger shoes, but I'd wear them anyway, more freedom for my toes :) And I hate the feeling of anything restraining/pressing/pushing on my toes like normal shoes or socks.

I think some people wear them as liners to help with blister prevention also.

Downside, the injinji are not cheap per pair.

All this talk of five finger socks and the such gives me the heebie-jeebies, ugh!

Here's my latest purchase, a 10" 1920x1200 IPS display that I will be modding in to my latest PC build. Really pleased with the quality of it.

It's running AIDA64's sensor panel that I've made to suit my components. Ignore most of the stats as they are only placeholders while I tweak the design. The keen-eyed of you will know where I've drawn inspiration from ;).

Surely all dogs can swim by default. I've never known a dog that can't - after all dogs invented "doggy paddle"

However, the shark fin is just hilarious!

French Bulldogs are the exception. This guy weighs 16kg and has pathetic little legs and so isn't as buoyant as i'd like.

Special just for you

Yeah tbf I always wear a high viz when swimming, for safety.

No shark fin though?

Very comfortable socks, I wear injinji socks and fivefinger shoes all the time

I'm a huge convert. These ones are by "Hilly" which i find comfier than Injinji and a better price. I've a few pairs of Vibram ones which are thinner and either plain white/black but not as comfy, but look better when out and about if i'm just wearing some Vivobarefoot trainers.

Around 12 months ago i got insanely bad foot pain following a long run where i was attacked by a huge dog which nailed my left thigh around 8 miles into a 50 mile run. I assume the remaining 42 miles were done with a weird gait which did something to my foot. The result was some hardening of a nerve between the toes and anything which compresses the toes causes pain. These socks help separate the toes and so less compression on the nerve. If i wear normal socks i'll wear "toe spreaders" which have had a far greater impact than the steroid injections or treatments that doctors recommend.

The next step is then moving to wide toe box shoes and i go with Altra for running now and Vivobarefoot for more casual wear. It's annoying being so restrictive as i do find them expensive (and generally ugly), but notice a big change when going back to any older shoes.

Amen to all this.
I've had good wear for more day to day use with Vibram's merino socks which are a little cheaper at £16 a pair (they also do cotton and poly mix ones which are cheaper still and lower profile).

The Injinji Ultra Run line (they have a stupidly large range with poor naming) are my go-to for running in minimalist shoes, with the others I've bought from them not being anywhere near as hard-wearing. The Ultra Run line has more material which puts some people off given the reduced ground feel (not actually a noticeable change to me) but it seems to aid in the longevity stakes.

These are the ones i use and i can't fault them. Bought years ago and still perfectly good. I see they do a black one too which i would look better.

The Injinji ones never seemed to fit my toes and the "toe" bits were always too long, although i tried those first and may have given up too quickly.

Thanks for the link will try a pair, I have only ever used the injinji liner socks as they are really thin, but I wear them out quickly. When I used to run I never wore socks in the fivefingers, never had issues but then I never ran more than 10 miles. Must get back into running!
