Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Yes, I bought a rack and got some spotter arms a while ago. A much better setup than the two chairs I had either side before...... lol :D

Old plates/bar that's being retired/given to the kids

That's good to see / hear! Chairs are better than nothing at all I suppose but when you're lifting on your own and your girlfriend can't even lift the bar, you need something like a rack to keep you safe! :D Looks like you're squatting / benching 100kg there so deffo worth having the safety of a rack!

I wish I was buff enough for weightlifting to be the first thing that comes into my head when someone says 'squatting'.

I like it strong and errrr well to taste good, this seems ok from Lidl but any ideas for sourcing filter coffee? (did have a look on cuisine section)
Ultimately will get a bean to cup machine as life's too short for bad coffee

Try the "Bellarom Gold" arabica coffee from Lidl. It's my go to as it's both well priced, strong and imo very tasty, I've only tried it via my Aeropress so YMMV.

A spare chainsaw, same as the mid size Stihl MS390 one I already have. I mean, used, off Ebay, what could possibly go wrong.....? :) I have a good selection of spares so it should be OK if the main saddle is undamaged. £750 new so £250 was worth a shot I thought. We'll see when it comes I guess.

Seems to have a decompressor which is a bit girlie, maybe the wife can use it, she claims the one without kicks back and the pull cord handle hurts her fingers... Ahhhh.

My long term Hub decided to have a hissy fit and die, so rather than take the chance that the plugs would go next, went ahead and bought these.
Already have the same extension lead, which works well and these setup really quickly, so have ordered another 6

Nice, I normally just watch top gear reruns to achieve similar levels of french roasting

Wanted some speakers for the office to avoid using my Google Hub. Debated getting something better as eventually i want to make my home office a room for listening to music properly, however until we buy somewhere it seemed daft to buy anything proper yet.

These Edifier R1700BT speakers get well reviewed for the cheap price and seem decent enough

Check out Origin Coffee (origincoffee.co.uk).

They’re based in Porthleven if you fancy a trip.

It’s not cheap coffee (compared to Lidl) but it’s supporting a local business and it’s much better quality.

If that’s too rich for your taste, then the single biggest tip I can give is to buy whole beans and get a grinder, rather than buying pre-ground coffee. It will make a huge difference to the taste.

I started switching over to Tapo a couple of years ago, the app can sometimes be a bit slow to give the status of a plug (whether it’s off or on!) but otherwise it’s a great system

Unless you particularly like bass and a V shape, the Edifier MR4 is a similar/cheaper price and is the better speaker.

I have a weedy boi battery one.
Was impressed though. Cut some fat logs.

Bought it as to get someone to do the job was more than the toy.. Tool I mean.

And chainsaws are fun... Effective I mean.

I bought some beers:

And I got a can of 1L German Oktoberfest bier (Red Bull can for size comparison) along with a steiner glass which doesn't fit in any of the kitchen cupboards

Let's be German about this: what you have there is a Maßkrug, or Maß for short. It is not a Stein.
The endurance sport of Maßkrugstemmen involves holding a filled 2.4-kilogram (5.3 lb) Maß at arm's length. The world record is 45 minutes and 2 seconds. While the sport is believed to have originated in Bavaria, Germany, competitions are now seen worldwide.
So presumably after 45 minutes people give up and have a sip?
