Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

An plant from Lidl which doesn't look like it's been watered for a week..

I started switching over to Tapo a couple of years ago, the app can sometimes be a bit slow to give the status of a plug (whether it’s off or on!) but otherwise it’s a great system
Pretty decent for the price.

Another four turned up today.

I've had the extension lead for a while and have had no major issues.

These pair up to my network with ease (Mesh on 2.4/5ghz) joined Alexa again with ease and are useful on a few things I have on Dusk till Dawn, which ITTT have announced they will be leaving Alexa at the end of the month, so failed hubs have kind of done me a favour.

Still waiting for the twin pack...

It may be worth immediately repotting it - all the plants I've bought from them have been similarly underwatered, but also in pots far too small for them. I get why as as a shop they want minimum weight and space, and they know they won't have to look after them for long. But it means the buyer needs to sort it!

I did as soon as I got it home and gave it some food.
The pot it came in was a quarter of the size of the one it’s in now and the soil was bone dry.
It does annoy me that they don’t even pretend to look after what they’re selling, but as you say, it’s for a reason.

New head unit for the Jeep, the old one had no Bluetooth and was the garish style of most single din units. This one (Blaupunkt Madrid 200BT) fits much nicer :)

Jesus, Travelodge looking as trampy as ever.

Wonder is they still do the laughable 30-minute free Wi-Fi access and is the corridor carpet was covered in mud.

I had to do two months in a travel lodge in London a few years back, and I can concur they did indeed look trampy as ever.

It's ok tbh, it's new and clean, loads of free parking, air con in rooms and next door to Aldi and Waitrose .
I am not really sure what else I need tbh
Also no WiFi needed with the data signal here
Maybe I need to be more precious like some of you guys

I'm the same. I only really sleep in a hotel room so anything premium is lost on me.

Clean, Hot water, 2 tea bags and a kettle, and an OK bed is all I need

I'm always on the fence (saves money on hotel rooms :p), when booking a hotel i'll try and go for something luxury. Especially if going somewhere with the wife. However as pleasant as it is (we tend to spend more time in the room due to my wifes illness) i always end up thinking "**** me, i'm paying £200 a night for 4 nights, if i'd just gone with a Premier Inn at £70/night i'd have saved a fortune" and to be fair a Premier Inn is generally pretty decent these days.

To be, Premier Inn is great!

I don't really get spending any more when it's just a room. Did Airbnb and hostels in Croatia

This was £45 for a family room ,my Daughter and now granddaughter live in Faringdon and as they are using one bedroom as an office we (me and ex) don't want to crowd their.space so it's a regular trip but not a holiday
