I did exactly the same last year, Machine Micro MK3 and a NI keyboard. I've really enjoyed it (when I get the time). Which software are you using? I'm working with Maschine but also purchased Arturia pigments. Learning a synth has been the most enjoyable part, I could spend hours fiddling about creating new sounds in Pigments.Decided to try my hand at making my own beats (latest of a long line of hobbies which I normally get bored of!). I bought the Arturua Minilab 3 midi controller (left) from amazon and Maschine Mikro MK2 (Pad controller on right) second hand. It's a steep learning curve (lots of youtube tutorials) but sounds great.
