I use a big A0 cutting mat because I do all sorts of stuff in front of the PC screen - like electronics (soldering, cutting pins, using glue etc) so a nice leather mat would be ruined in short order. Nice idea though.

I've had two pairs of A50s, and most of the people I play with have them too. I replaced my first pair as they were getting really old and knackered, and the second pair the same again, however being an old fart now I can't justify the price so I got a pair of Steelseries Arctis 7 Pros for a hell of a lot less money and they've made me genuinely question why I paid so much for the Astros in the past, they are absolutely fantastic.

I sent my A50's back, I went for the Arctis Pros, and they are better in most scenarios.

No fiddly dock, 2 batteries, comfortable, fair noise suppression, good sounds and goes pretty loud.

I also have the SS Arena 7 speakers / sub and they are awesome too!

I've been wanting something new to do as lately gaming has become a bit boring. Finding I'd be playing the same games more out of a habit than actually because they were fun and it all started to feel a bit stale. I had been thinking about learning an instrument for a while now, so I went and bought a Bass guitar. It's a Harley Benton PB Shorty. Had it for just over a week now and I'm really enjoying it. Its hard but fun. Hopefully I can play some songs soon. I can play a bit of Queen's Another one bites the dust, and the riff from KNOWER'S I'm the President.
