That book is £1200.

It costs £7.80 to turn each page.

Fair play.
The 1991/1992/1994 editions are typically around the $5-700 for good condition copies. The limited edition 2003 book is often $2-2500 and anything signed by (the late) Brian Shul is usually silly money. I've been keeping an eye on eBay and various sellers for years hoping for a 'deal' but given the limited runs and the rarity (few thousand copies globally i believe), prices have only gone up.

It's an amazing book though and i'm not jealous at all of @Diddums :(

Top guy, his hour+ long talk he gave at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is incredible.
Great watch; for any one interested it's on YT - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wigZsFypdyI
And obviously the 'Speed Check' story, which is always amazing -

I bought an AIO from the rainforest in May last year and returned it for a refund when the pump packed in, and immediately ordered another one.
Today I received this..

Has anyone had this happen before?

My wife just got me the best birthday gift she's ever got me. I've wanted this book for over a decade, ever since I read the Supersonic Speed Check story.

We have a joint bank account so she's been squirreling money away for over a year to be able to sneakily buy it without me knowing, what a champ

First edition with loads of little clippings and other goodies in amongst the pages, can't wait for a nice Sunday afternoon to have a read.

What a great gift. To see one take off from RAF Mildenhall must have been something.

Makes me want to go and put on Firefox!

Remember Twizzlers?

I was in a local shop for local people today and the stocked sweets from all over. I grabbed a big pack of these, they are filled with fruit type nnectar on the inside and taste sublime
The Wife often finds these in shops, then proceeds to trough the bag, so I rarely get a look in :(They're are indeed pretty nice though

Best thing to do with Twizzlers is to bite the ends off and use them as a straw to drink Dr Pepper or Cherry Coke .

I am not responsible for any diabetes contracted as a result of this advice.
Can't do that with these ones as the tube inside these is filled with a tangy filling!
