Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

I used a broker who found me a lender who was happy to lend based on my SFL Annuity income while also technically being unemployed :D

The whole application process was pretty straight forward too and I had the offer within a week. I thought there might have been lots of extra checks and stuff on my income and situation but nope. :)

That's a great financial position to be in, I've had a look at the rules but cant seem to find if you can pass on the benefits if you pop it ,as at my age the amount of months left is getting worrying but if it could continue in the family................i am guessing not

If you pop it the rest of the Annuity gets paid to your estate as a lump sum. So if you pop it a week after winning your estate gets the £3.6mil lump.

That's great news. Congratulations.

Some Sony wh-1000xm5

Better noise cancelling than my bose qc45. The dog says they fit better too

Please don't use these as a work headset - especially when your little one arrives lol. The mic picks up everything/gets confused/generally sucks. Edit: as do most headsets without a boom mic.

The Dettol automagic soap dispenser has finally died, was gifted by a relative some years ago so that's pretty good going, just kept refilling it with £1 handwash lol instead of paying the £4 Dettol want for "official" refills

Got this jobby off Amazon, much better, squirts you with half the soap too so should last twice as long, and just like everything in my life now, is charged via USB-C

It's amusing how tedious things like this are actually the most satisfying the older you get... I appreciate some of the features of this thing too, it has a splurge mode that unblocks the tubes if it ever gets stuck, how convenient.

These things always ended up breaking for me.

I've settled on those Dove handwash bottles (very moisturising to my OCD constant washing ass too) with the cheaper refills.

We had a couple of those Dettol things for a while, absolutely fantastic little things. Sadly all dead now.

Using a knife to open the bottles and fill them with cheaper stuff felt like such a little stick-it-to-the-man life hack :D

Need to find a decent replacement but as @Tephnos says they're all generally cheap rubbish which break after a month or two.

It's bought off Amazon so if it breaks it's same/next day replacement and send the broken one back in free post so no biggie :p

So far though the quality seems good and as long as the motor bit remains dry which it should since it's all up top instead of at the bottom like on those dettol ones, should outlast the dettol!

Do you dilute your antibacterial hand wash with water like some dispensers suggest? I can see why they state it but I wonder if it reduces their effectiveness for cleaning.

This model does not need dilution, there is a model that does and I opted against that one as I live in a hard water area so dilution would eventually clog the innards with limescale. The Dettol one lasted 3 years and it too does not need water dilution by the way.

At the risk of my reputation going south, do you have a link to this? My Amazon search skills are lacking, but I did search for automatic USB soap dispenser. :o
