My old Aftershokz Aeropex broke. Fairly disappointing and just outside of the warranty period (well by around 9 months :p). They offered me a 20% discount code which brought them down to ~€160, but they're often reduced in sales and so even with 20% off i knew i'd see them again at a cheaper price.
So bought some cheap ones off Aliexpress. They arrived on Monday. On Tuesday i ordered the proper ones again which arrived yesterday. They were included in the Prime sale for €130 which i'm happy with. Considering how much i used the previous ones and in some horrific conditions then cost/use as pointed out by @AndyCr15 starts to become reasonable.

I'll still keep the cheap knockoffs. They're not terrible, but the controls on the unit aren't very good with only a single button and no volume control make them difficult to use whilst cycling.

Prime Day goodies and the boomerang that is a product that is now cheaper on PrimeDay that I bought a few weeks back; so returning the new one against the old receipt.

Been eyeing up quite a bit of stuff for the new house. Mainly around smart bulbs/sensors and the Reolink doorbell that's reduced well, but decided to hold off. Am sure it'll be a similar story for Black Friday and then avoids missing out on too much warranty.

Bought a 6 pack of Nivea shaving gel for £12, a 6 pack of shower gel for £4, 1kg of coffee beans for £8, a Firestick pro remote for £23. Just stuff I was going to buy anyway, reduced in price a little bit. Nothing ground breaking.

I was hovering over the 3-in-1 chargers for a bit because I'm wanting a travel solution for iPhone, Apple Watch & Air Pods, but decided not to bother. There wasn't much in the way of really inspiring deals, as there haven't been for the last 5 years or more.

He's got a basement too ? - no tv aerials .. he'll show a nice picture of some glorious nearby mountains soon

I've got 3 Ambilight TVs now. Since I got one about 10 years ago, I've stuck with them. I got an absolute bargain last year with a 50in 'The One' for £350 for the guest room - and wanted to get the bigger version for our living room. Had to pay a bit more to get one of the last remaining 2023 models - as their latest TV's have ditched Google TV for their own Smart Tv interface - which I wanted to avoid.
First of all, absolute lol at your username :D

I have a 50inch Ambilight TV and I recently got one of those hue bulbs for 99p from the rainforest. Do I really need a bridge or can I connect it via Bluetooth?

Got stitched up with the username. Pesky mods.

It depends how recent the TV is. Philips have dropped Ambilight+Hue feature from their latest ranges.

I bought a couple of packs of the govee ones for my kitchen and bathroom - very pleasantly surprised with them, they're far brighter than the ikea tradfri ones they replaced.

If you've got it in your menu, you've got lucky. Avoid software updates. :p
I did have a firmware/software update recently It says May 5th 2024. It added another option for the lights. Fine detail and Classic glow. I do still have ambilight+hue in the menu, along with Ambilight+Philips wireless home speakers. I just can't get the bulb to connect. It is a Bluetooth one. The TV searches for it but never sees it. I have the bulb directly above me on the ceiling. Here is the model if you wouldn't mind taking a look. On the box it says B22. 806 lumen@2700k. It says works with Alexa on the box. I'm normally good at solving these little issues, but I just can't work it out. Surely the TV should just see the bulb, they are literally meant for each other FFS. I must be doing something wrong. Also I've turned off auto updates lol.
(Edit) It won't find the bulb using the Bluetooth in the TV,and if I go to configure it keeps asking for a bridge. ****** doing my head in. Cos the bridge is like £40 or something. I ain't paying that for a ******* bulb.
