Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Yup, one device only on mine - then every device connected goes via the router. I've had to use it at home when my Fibre went down for a bit; connected to the public wifi here (I've pretty good free available networks around Canary Wharf) and I was up and running in no time.

Did it via my phone initially, but then it occurred to me to use the free wifi! They are fab devices.

Aha! Yes, that's exactly how I ended up with one. When I was working in an office a lot - legal - I wanted to avoid using their staff/general wifi, as I got to see all the inspection stuff they did. Fantastic device to have in your tech kit.

The airport express did exactly that about 15 years ago.

I got that too, this is much better though.

That id absolutely brilliant. Probably going to grab one, will make hotels a lot easier! Thank you

I want to add that to connect via Wifi is trickier than with LAN. It was so much easier with LAN at home. Using the wifi repeater with captive portal, it never just work, it took me about 15 mins of trial and error to get it working on the hotel. But the fault isn't the unit, just each location and their internet have it's own quirks, so clicking different settings here and there eventually got both at the airport and now the hotel working.

I am probably going to swap to another hotel at the weekend so will try again there too.

If only it had a SIM card slat and supported 5G this would be amazing

Anyone know of cases for key fobs?

As in to put in case and then on keychain

Funny you posted this as i was only looking at one at my local motorbike dealer on Saturday
(But was no good to me as my bike doesn't have a key Fob :()

And this is using the airports wifi? With the usual login page? Does the router handle the login page?

Ah yes I see it's connected to airport wifi. This interesting. My work laptop sometimes has a fit with login pages at hotels etc, this could be a nice work around and it seems they're only £50~

Plenty of guys in our office that travel frequently use something like this, as our laptop VPN system can only connect to the WiFis of hotels that have been pre-approved. They can't connect to the landing page, and without the landing page they can't connect to the WiFi. I've also stayed in hotels which limit the number of devices that can be connected so this gets around those restrictions as well.

Just picked one up after all the discussions in here. I'll be travelling a lot for the rest of the year and next, so will be ideal.

I guess this could also be used on planes. They normally limit their access to one device only. This gets around that completely. Laptop, phone, tablet, steamdeck. Happy days.

Coupon on rainforest to take it to £73, but same on other sites so wondering if thats the normal price?

When LTT reviewed it a year ago they mentioned it was slike $85 so £73 sounds like the price that it should be.
