He's on house boots :P

Not really :D

Thought it was time to synchronise my peripherals now that my g pro wireless was giving up the ghost
the mouse was double clicking issues, apparently very common with the newer logitech mice...so decided to go razer instead this time

Just bought the exact same stuff to replace Logitech gear. How are you finding it?

@Vidar
i was previously using an asus claymore (gen 1) bought in late 2019 and a logitech g pro wireless (gen 1) bought in early 2021
my mouse left button and side button developed double clicking issues for the last couple of months which prompted the replacement
as above, wanted to go for a logitech combo (g pro wireless superlight 2 + g515 keyboard) but seems like logitech quality is getting worse and worse and lots of double clicking issues with their newer generations mice (poor spring quality in their switches from what i can tell)
previously used the og g500 and then the g502 core and those lasted ages

i wanted a single brand this time rather than mixed brands so read around and came to a conclusion of razer

i went for the huntsman v2 as i prefer quieter switches...and damn it's really quiet in comparison to my previous non dampened mx-browns in the asus claymore
the huntsman v3 has noisier switches and i didn't need the dedicated media buttons, and the print screen key is more important to me lol
also didn't need the snap-tap on the v3
and more importantly, the v2 was less than half the price of the v3
the huntsman keyboard plate i think is made of plastic, but it's got some heft to it and feels well made (the claymore had an aluminium keyboard plate)
razer synapse > asus armory crate...armory crate is a pig in comparison

with the mouse from my google-fu the viper v3 pro was a toss up against the superlight 2
current impressions, quality feels as good as the g pro wireless
viper v3 pro is a lot lighter (55g i think) vs the g pro wireless (83g)
but no rgb - not an issue for me as i turned off the rgb on my g pro wireless anyway
the mouse feet of the viper is much much better than the g pro wireless

razer synapse seems easy enough to use and definitely less resource hogging than armory crate, and the ui is cleaner than the logitech
all in all, for day 1...very pleased with myself

also bought these from amazon warehouse - like new (literally lol)
huntsman v2 = £74
viper v3 pro = £120
so, basically 30% off new

No photo of the shower but some very boring house purchases, a new oil tank and a new shower.
