Images of items I have purchased (except trainers [no feet pics])

Upgraded to a nice braided cable kit for my PSU, surprised they're still available on a slightly older PSU.

Absolutely awful image of my new indoor bike (Domyos Challenge from Decathlon). Certainly missing a few features vs the Kickr Bike etc, but also less than half the price. Had it out in the pool house, but had no wifi signal and didn't want to start messing around getting another AP given we're in a rental so moving it into the covered porch bit at the front.

Also, our annual Christmas decoration. A Christmas Spider :D Story behind it is the origin of tinsel.

How do these compare to what you were using before? I'm tempted to get a pair but the price is... considerable.
I've not really used headphones for gaming before (only Hi-Fi) so can't offer a decent comparison, but after 1/2 hour of playing BO6 last night with the Maxwell's I'm extremely impressed in every way, and will be using them for gaming going forward.
I know @Noxia & @sgavan also use them, so maybe they can share their thoughts.

For me going from the open back wired DT990, AKG702 I would say they play the lower end a bit more with less of the harsher top end, all are great though. They have clear sound and the versatility of them with wireless and Bluetooth etc mean they could be used as one for all, and with amazing battery life. They use a USB C dongle so if you don't have one available or easy to access a simple A to C adapter works fine

So if you wanted one I would recommend these, I know some sites, will remove if against rules, Argos have done £100 off each recently so possibly another sale in January, and Richer sounds sometimes have refurbished ones with a huge discount.

Pretty much echo this, I paid £212 for mine on sale, hifiheadphones also sell the refurb ones for quite a lot less.
If you get the Playstation ones they are cheaper due to not having a Dolby Atmos licence, So if you don't care about that you can save quite a bit. And if you really want to, you can just get the licence for about 10 to 15 quid anyway on PC.

I was using Fidelio X2HR and AKG K712 prior. I wanted the wireless convenience, I'm not very good at explaining the differences in sounds between them though I'm afraid. However I will say that they are superior IMO to the Fidelios with some EQ tweaking, K712 Is harder for me to compare to because it's my absolute favourite headphone in terms of comfort and everything so I'm not going to try.

New TV to replace an old cheap 32" polaroid the other half had. Couldn't trust the others not to ruin an OLED so a micro LED set seemed like the most logical decision. I was originally thinking of going for a TCL C805K but I found a 55" Hisense U8K on a good deal as it's last years model. The improvement has been epic and it's even surprised me given that I'm used to an older LG C6 OLED and Panasonic UT50 plasma. The built in speakers surprised me the most. Whilst not on par with proper speakers and an amp, it sounds remarkably good.

I bought a drone.

and a Strobe so I can fly it at night legally.

Went with the old version of the VIFLY one, saw the Cree version was only a few quid more but I don't want the increased brightness some idiot from Jersey might try to shoot it

oooo did you get a deal somewhere?? been looking at these for a while, with the screen in the controller and the fly more pack.. If you've found a decent deal i'm interested..

Thanks in advance.
Very and Costco had deals on recently.

Costco was
Remote with screen + 128gb sd card + mini 4 pro for around 558

I bought a n extra battery and charger on amazon.
so basically got the fly more pack for about 700.
but ones less battery so 660, I doubt I'll ever need more than 2 batteries, a 3rd is just one more to worry about.
You can charge without the battery docks, it's just easier with one.
kind of a waste of money compared to just buying a power bank really, shame you can't just plug a USB-C directly into the battery, either charges in the drone or in the dock.
Ironically the battery dock can be used as a power bank as it has a USB output.

I did the flyer id test and got 39/40 questions with only a skim read of the guide :D

you can get the mini 4k for about 250btw, it's not a whole lot worse than the pro, mainly just missing the detection sensors that probably aren't that important to most people anyway. (although I don't think the 4k has the proper ISO options for filming at night like the pro does)
The screen with remote won't be able to use 3rd party apps whenever DJI Release the SDK for the mini 4 btw.

so for some people the remote with a screen is a negative

Fancied playing something different and feeling a bit nostalgic I pre-ordered this set from Amazon but the release date slipped to next year.

So looked around and found it at half the price on Amazon.jp. :)

Apparently it's a bit flawed but will be fun, shame Samba's not getting a PS5 release.

The tank looks more fun.
Keep getting tempted to buy some Tamiya kits myself.
but then I'd feel the urge to buy a compressor etc...
