Took a few pics of the new motor this morning. Pretty happy with it and much more comfortable on the long journeys than my previous car.

Yeah, I'm not an electrical engineer so I'm not sure what I am looking for! I see no burn marks on the capacitors.

First off, leave it unplugged for 24hours or something so it completely drains... Don't know how much power those things hold.

In that case take it apart looking for a fuse or something... I mean only play with it if you are going to write it off anyway of course. If you don't see a problem then you've lost nothing

I've put the lid back on now, I rather not tinker with it and sell it for parts after Christmas.

I bought this ASUS monitor in mint condition with a VESA mount for £10 off Gumtree locally.

And this LED strip off the bay for just under £7. USB powered and it's stupidly bright, pictures don't do it justice.
