Did it make it sound better?

Of course, my tea tastes so much better since it is using one of these I am tempted to make one out of silver. :D

(I've also actually made interconnectors using cables with a (percentage) silver core using solder that has 5% silver content).

Both power cables and power blocks can make a difference. Subjective on the former and can be very expensive on the later. Don't forget all the vibration damping legs and mats. :D

Been there, done that, at least with the vibration damping, (not the power block)…I used to make jokes about suspending components on fishing wire off the ceiling and/sitting the CD player on a block of cheese as a way of eliminating vibration in a HiFi Forum, people actually thought I gave it a go and asked me what improvements it yielded.

Sounds to me as thought you're almost a fully qualified hifi bore. :D

New bag and wallet from scaramanga. Not heard of the site before but the bag is excellent really well made and solid. It is the large overland bag so I can fit my laptop in.

I downloaded PDFs of all the new hi fi mags the other night for the ipad.

WOW!

They now sell little clip on RCA / phono jack covers to stop vibration and EMR escaping hahaha

Reminds me of the wooden replacement volume and tone control knobs they were all flogging years ago

O RLY?

A funky power cables can undo any power signal contamination from the grid, shonky home wiring all the way up to the socket by magic ? :D

It's like magnets?

I have a bunch of those in various sizes, someone send them to me from NZ years back, they don't do anything that I can tell.

HOWEVER, this is a big however, I notice some of the OEM power cables from normal everyday components have those actually "built" in, I've seen them, it's just a black plastic thing that looks like a kind of supressor at the end of the cable. These are not even hifi components, I think I've seen them in like £35 Logitech 2.1 speakers systems, and where companies makes no big claims on these things. So part of me wonder why they add it in if they don't do anything.

Hah woreworld. ..pointless waste like monster cables.

S Flex Mini from Amazon at £13 or less is imo the best. Really easy to manage because it's so flexible and the ends are small enough and tough enough for headphone use without snagging or binding. They also look really nice.

Edit.
Oh yeah you're not in the UK so that is a no go :p
