Finally got around to wearing my watch movement cuff-links that I recently purchased 
You couldn't do me a favour could you spook? Could you let me know the outside diameter of the fittings on the installation kit as well as the width of the elbow that enters the tank? I've been considering one for my 2224.

Sorry bud your trust isn't enabled so here we go.
I'm using 16/22mm hose size for the installation sets i have, but i have to reduce the hoses down to size 12/16mm with a Eheim reducing piece when i feed into the UV as this is the only size Eheim do that model, then add another reducing Piece to go back up to 16/22mm to feed the outflow.

Surely you must be emptying it every 5 minutes for a whole house? The dust compartment looks small.
I've got one (a slightly older model), probably not quite good enough for a whole house - unless it's a small house - but for quickly doing a few rooms or getting some crumbs etc it's ideal. I find myself pulling the fullsize Dyson out of the cupboard less regularly as a result.
Cheers for hose sizes. How wide are the elbows that enter the tank? I've only got one available cut out on my jewel lido, which is 45mm wide. Ta very much chief.

I really dislike the stock eheim crook and was hoping this would do the trick. The fact it's primable was of interest too. You have to prime the 2224 the old fashioned way

Yeah wanted a better input/output from the stock, i will have to cut my lid bigger with these, can't do it today as my cutoff taps didn't come in post
