pls do an unboxing vid like this

That video was literally amazing.

I would like to see this and others you have.

It's one of my goals in life to purchase a hand forged Katana but these can cost £1000's and my own suit of samurai armour which can cost even more. :o

I know a little about the Edo Period of Japan, so I'll join you heartily in that desire! The trouble is that I've decided to like authentic militaria where possible and anything medieval is priceless or might as well be. Even the good replica items are expensive.

This particular sword is my first such piece, apart from a sword bayonet, and will be my only one for a while as it's pretty much my favourite pattern. Silly Parcelfarce have sent it north though, so it'll probably be here tomorrow now. :(

Phhh that's an awful stock image that you've hotlinked from Amazon. Try harder next time, D- for you.

Apologies. In my defence, I did edit the picture 3 times as the previous images were HUGE so I was considerate and saved everyone from looking at an image 25x larger than it needed to be

Yes, I prefer authentic items as well, modern or fakes don't really cut it for me. If you going to own something like this, it's best that you get the real thing. :p

Did you have to go though any legal hoops to purchase one?

Killing people in a game doesn't make me a murderer or playing GTA doesn't make me want to go out and steal a car and run people over and watching Anime or collecting posters or figures of "girls" doesn't make me have a interest in under-age human girls.

"I have no interest in scantily clad under-age girls so I'm going to collect pictorial representations of them".

Now I understand ....

I have an aunt who collects tiger figures. Can't imagine she'd actually want to have much to do with one in real life, though.

Apparently, sections 62 - 68 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009, were brought in because UK law thinks:

So it appears that the law takes this rather seriously, rightly or wrongly.

A quick caveat: I'm not at my PC so I cannot fully substantiate this, apologies if any of it is incorrect.
Sounds a lot like the video nasties and computer game violence arguments to me.

But, heck, I know for a fact that there weren't any paedos around before the internet and weird Japanese cartoons existed, so there's an obvious pattern there.

I bet she'd probably enjoy seeing a live one on Safari or in a Zoo etc. My point is, you don't collect things / representations of things you have no interest in.

Could always try those antipuncture things you can fit inside the tyre that basicly act like a suit of armour for your inner tubes. Or the inner tubes that self seal on small punctures ?

SLIME may work out cheaper instead of new inner tubes all the time. Not cheap tho.

They should make tyres out of material that doesn't puncture. I wonder if anyone's thought about that?

Continental Gatorskins

Specialized Armadillos

Schwalbe Marathon Plus

All designed with puncture resistance in mind, Armadillos are my favourite as they are still very light
