Oh good lord I though that was some kind of SERIOUSLY messed up microwave pasta dish. BLEUGH!!!

would have been nice of you to put it in spoiler tags. Those things look a bit scary.

A mate bought some into work about 25 years ago and I pretended to take some and put them in my mouth to eat. Within minutes a total of £5.50 was placed in front of me if I actually did it and I ended up putting the money in my pocket. They weren't that bad.

Problem is, a lot of people can't tell the difference between reality and what's not real.

It's like that first mission in Call of Duty where you act as a terrorist and kill everyone in the airport or you play as a "terrorist" in CSS or the 1000's of people I have killed in games in Battlefield to burning down towns in C&C in the name of Kane!

Killing people in a game doesn't make me a murderer or playing GTA doesn't make me want to go out and steal a car and run people over and watching Anime or collecting posters or figures of "girls" doesn't make me have a interest in under-age human girls.

Sometimes I think you get a kick out of the reactions though, because I hardly ever see you post anything that isn't anime related! :D

Man up!

Yes, I prefer authentic items as well, modern or fakes don't really cut it for me. If you going to own something like this, it's best that you get the real thing. :p

Did you have to go though any legal hoops to purchase one?

Nope. I think you have to be over 18 to purchase swords, but the dealer never enquired as to my age (probably as it was obvious). My age was verified for the deactivated Mosin Nagant that I bought recently though - again, over 18s only.

Ah, it's a lot fun to post these things and see what people say but other then that for better or worst, I really love Anime and always have in my life and like to show it.

I have been very tempted to purchase something just for the trolls here though, maybe one day. :p

I do sometimes post other things, my last purchase that I showed was my new Logitech G700s mouse, be nice if I could show other stuff, but my Anime purchases take all my money. :(

Amazing, thought the rules was tighter for that. I know some stores will ask you for some sort of ID or to prove you have a martial art background before they allow you purchase one, awesome anyway.

Why are Anime bits so expensive? I don't get the appeal :p

Do you keep all of your anime bits all in one place? I think we require some pictures haha

Picked up these for my new house. The 24 Port HP Procurve switch was purchased second hand for steal and will be installed into my new network throughout my house.

Is it just me or are these Nest products just completely pointless gimmicks? (Not that I can talk, I own Philips Hue lightbulbs!)

Just cannot see the point of a fancy smoke alarm, and a thermostat that doesn't really work properly in a UK house setup and in a situation where a correctly setup timer can be just as efficient.

But yes, that doesn't stop me still wanting them!

They look quite cool. I really want some of those light bulbs but they are a bit on the expensive side.
