A six bay SSD hot swap caddy and two fan controllers
Awesome. I'm thinking of doing the same with a hot swap bay. There's a lack of good cases with 5 and quarter inch bays top to bottom though (as I'd prefer to stack the drives from the bottom up for lower centre of gravity). Who is the bay manufacturer? I know Lian Li do 3.5" hot swap bays. Do they do that 2.5" as well?

That's good to hear as that's what I'll probably do and then build the array with mdadm under Linux. Save forking out for an expensive controller.

Almost done with my little writeup, DisplayPort 1.2 mode does indeed flicker every now and then - I hope they release a firmware update for that!

To be fair they were never great value. You could get a 27" iMac with the exact same screen and a whole, decent PC for a couple hundred more.
