Simian, that Breffo looks awesome but I'd be interested to know what it's like in actual use. Some of the reviews I've read say that the legs tend to snap off after a while.

However, the main question for me would be that, with the increasingly cold mornings, having my phone attached to my air vents would end up causing overheating when I have the heating on (my Astra still leaks air out of the vents even when not turned to that particular setting).

One of my friends has something like that (or indeed one of them) and I think it's damn awful to look at and totally pointless, each to their own though. My phone stays in my pocket or gets dumped in a cubby hole if it's being charged.

I read the review where the leg broke, alls I can say is they must have kept bending and bending the leg... but I'll keep and eye out (it's only £15quid so no loss)

Luckily my Fabia's vents close off totally, as I had my Garmin mounted there previously, but the phone is replacing my Garmin (it's not all it was cracked up to be!!)

Can't really leave it in my pocket when I'm using it as a SatNag! :p

I'm still on the look out for a decent mount for my Lumia 830 that doesn't touch any of the buttons or block the Charge socket!

Just fitted it...

It's not bad! I've not driven with it yet, so I don't know about any springiness that might occur, but it holds the phone tightly (as it's rubber it grips nicely)

Had to bend a bit here and there, and move the vent down and toward the drivers side to make sure it was 'trapped'

I'll report back once I've had a drive too and from work tomorrow (140 mile round trip)

I'll try and get some pics of the phone in it later too!! :)

Interested to know how u get on with this. I want a new phone mount and am struggling as i hate them on my glass

Hot off the press:

Wont work on the Lumia 830, as there are 3 large buttons (Volume, Power and Camera) along one edge of the phone, so the arms will push on the buttons!

PS... is this you on Briskoda?? I'm on there too, think I've spoken to you in the past!! :D

Nah, I have a user on Briskoda but barely say anything :p When I buy a Skoda (eventually) I will be an active poster. I just really like 32K's Fabia II.

You may find it will work if the phone in a case...;)

As the thickness of the case may put buttons below the level of the edges of the case.

Till next time. ;)

The Yamamoto had three main turrets making for a total of nine 18" guns, how come that 'model' only has two main turrets?
