Most expensive shoes I have ever bought, better last 5 years.

It depends what you're going to do in them.

I have to walk about 1.5 miles a day on my commute, and I'd go through a flimsy pair of shoes like that in less than 6 months (ie. new heels definitely, probably new soles too).

If you just wear them in the office, they'll last 10+ years.

They look extremely dull for £150.

I just purchased a pair shoes too

NO STOCK IMAGES YOU MONSTER!!!!!

I don't like shoes where they have that extra inch, i am already size 11 and makes it look like skies. Also don't like those girly patterns. So i am left with not many styles. This one is ok and meant to last a long time otherwise i would just keep buying a cheap pair every year. Ill try an expensive pair and see how it goes with them if not i may go back to cheap pairs.

I got a few pairs at work yes, commute = comfy trainers.

Then depending on mood, keep trainers on in work... or use shoes if client is in or something.

Or better yet, no shoes and be even better.

Suits and trainers looks dumb though. Might try get some cheap black trainers for commute. I can always change the soles on these though and just trialing the expensive pair see how long they last.

I only wear my leather shoes at work, I leave them under my desk and walk to and from the office in a different pair of shoes (trainers), and the leather shoes at work last 12 months or so, that's purely walking on carpet and out to lunch for 20 min or so a day.

Never tend to get more than about 12-18 months from leather shoes. Granted working in hospital involves a lot of walking around but it's not exactly the harshest of environments. Nowadays I don't both with expensive ones as I know they won't last at work but just save them for special occasions.
