make a thread ive only made from the cans in the big buckets would love to see how to do a scratch one.

Are you following a guide online to go from parts to brew? If not, I'd be very interested in a project log.

There's a big thread in the food section on these forums, i'm using the All grain method, or 'full mash' brew, it's better than the kits you can buy as i have full control over strength, flavours etc.

Where i work, we have a micro brewery on site which i've taken an interest in, and in the last year i have been converted into drinking proper beers rather than crap like fosters lol. Before i started working here, i had never had proper beer.

I'm fortunate enough to be able to go and speak to our brewery guys for advice etc, i've been offered ingredients from work too which is nice, and in the long run, not only will i have the satisfaction of drinking beers that i have created myself, but it'll cost ~ £10 for a 5 gallon brew (40 pints), so it'll save me quite a lot of money in the long run too.

I've still got a bit to buy, and a lot to read and learn, but hopefully, i'll be making my first brew in the next few weeks, a simple SMaSH (single malt and single hop) beer. I'm sure i'll write a log when i do do it though, it'l be in the food and drink section.

Make sure you put them on properly, I see so many idiot BMW drivers who put them on their wheels the wrong way up! instead of ///M they have W///, you won't believe how many times I've seen this happen! Always makes me laugh.

What's the chocolate like. I got some of willies 100% and omg it's nasty. Even in things like pies it's too over powering. Wondering if it's just that one, as I like 85% stuff.

They stock three different types of 100% at Hotel Chocolat and I really wasn't keen on one of them, I didn't actively dislike it, it was just bland.

Out of the two I bought, the Peru one tastes creamier, milkier, even though it's 100%. They're quite a different taste from each other and they'll last me months as I'll just have a small piece before I go to bed.
