Needed a new media center device, was going to get a Fire Tv Stick and install XMBC/Kodi on it, but no USB ports, I need USB ports unfortunatly for my hard drives.
Opted for a Raspberry Pi 2 instead and got it a little case.
£40 in total for Pi + case and the SD card which is a Sandisk 8gb class 10

Works very nice with kodi installed, nice and quick.
plugged in a very old wifi usb stick I had laying around (thats why its so big!) works great.
Got it powered by my TV's USB and set CEC to turn on the Pi when my Tv turns on, and turn it off when I turn my TV off and I can use my TV remote to control the menus.
Very happy with it.

Which case is that please?

got these delivered today (even though its bank holiday)

Philip Fidelio M2BT Bluetooth headphones. One of, if not the best best bluetooth headphones cost me £199

Yes i did, and i was very close in buying the Gyre, but what i read on how many failed it did put me off buying, yes i could have saved £350 but i think i made right choice :)

Fair enough pal - been on the fence about changing my 2 x MP10's for the Gyre.. not worth the QD upgrade :o

I do like the Gyre, nice movement of water it creates, suppose one the reasons is i like Ecotech like people like Apple:) and don't buy anything else.

Decided to get myself a GoPro 'copy' - the SJ4000. Added the mount to my bike (normally this is the under handlebar one, but I wanted a view including the brake hoods, so this works well). Only issue is I can't use my Garmin on the stem anymore, so ordered a out front mount for the other side - but not arrived yet!

Not bad for £40!

Just beware that this camera interferes with the a Garmin's GPS, well it does on an Edge 800 anyway. Had to have them 8 inches apart before the camera would stop interfering.
