A guy i worked with had one of those and it was disgustingly loud. I dont even know how he made it so, but you could hear him coming from several streets away.
 
Slovenian exhausts are loud but also very expensive! I wan't one for my car but could buy a new bike for the cost of it :eek:

Bike looks great Clum, real mean! Do you have a helmet to match the style?
 
How do bikers with exhausts that loud manage to own working ears? It's loud enough driving alongside one on the road, can only imagine what it's like sitting on one regularly.

every day I'm in pain because someone "just didn't see me" every bike since has had a race exhaust on it.

Got stopped by a cop who said "i knew you were coming cause i could hear you miles away"

Apparently "good, i suppose that's why you didn't pull out on me" was not the answer he was expecting lol.

you cant hear the engine or the exhaust after about 50mph then its all wind noise.
 
you dont notice the noise off your own bike as its behind you.:D

but you would notice your mates bike riding alongside if his exhaust was level with you...

by the time you factor in wind and rain noise you wont even notice the exhaust lol
 
Earplugs!

Forget about exhaust noise, once you start getting above 70mph the wind noise is what does your hearing in.

I didn't know supersonic bikes were generally available to the public yet ;)

You're absolutely right. Even better is cashew butter (if you're after a matte finish). Try and stay away from the crunchy varieties! :D Also stick to applying it externally :p

I used to use this stuff from Wurth - lethal stuff it was. Had to tape up around the plastics so as not to get any on the bodywork but it never went white again (although it did fade a bit but never back to it's worst).

sound can be directional the exhaust points backwards away from you, send most of the sound that way hes right you can hear a bike in front of you with the exhaust aimed at you much much easier than you can your own.

i recently put the baffle back in mine forgot how lovely the gear driven cams sounded :p
