Monitor Audio A100 Amp and a pair of BX2 speakers. I do miss having the sub, but sort of don't. Pictures don't do this lot justice though, they're all very well made and have a very nice finish. Airplay is also a joy to use and it has exactly the right inputs for me. :)

Nice! Their smaller brother the BX1 are on sale at RS for £100 as well.

What setup did you have previously? The BX2 has a decent bass response tbh, I'm sure you are enjoying them!

£700 rent. I did lots of searching in Edinburgh but really failed to find one that ticked the boxes I was looking for so settled with this. Could have got a cheaper flat but this one just felt right.

Looks very nice dude sure you'll be happy there! :D

This is mine, I bought it 2 years ago but never posted any pics here. This is a Coach House, aka. flat above garages. I own the freehold with the 2 left side garages belonging to other properties on the development, which lease them from me.

Pics are nor perfect!

View of front. I can actually fit in three cars here, a bit overkill. I can put one in the garage, one out front, and another will fit next to it outside my front door if required.

View from top of stairs down to doorway. I love the bit of built in carpet for taking shoes on/off, would totally do it again:

View from top of stairs into hallway. On the right there is a small area where my washing machine and networking/master socket all go for my router etc. I would also put in networking again if I ever got a new build anywhere in the future:

View into master bedroom. It has an en-suite with shower, sink, toilet:

This is the master bathroom, I spent the most here getting full height tiling etc:

There is a 2nd room which is basically a study, would otherwise be a small bedroom. Not that interesting to look at it just has my PC in it, and a desk. After that there is the lounge:

This is a shot of my current TV setup (more recent that house purchase), opposite Sofa. 55" Samsung F8000 LED TV, with Yamaha RXV677 AVR and Dali Zensor 7.1 surround sound system.

Is it me but that bin is in a weird place? l

Yeah it's not perfect (it's not in that exact place in the pic either). I have a reasonably small kitchen so it's either have the bin somewhere on the floor in the kitchen, or have a smaller one in the cupboards or something.

I'd have to empty it far too often to have a small bin, so I make do with this :P

I remember the days before kids it was amazing finding things in the same place you left them. I found my iPad in the cereal cupboard today, My Son denies all knowledge, My Daughter has accused I doubt I will ever find out.

Enjoy it while you can..... :)

Matching Kettle and Toaster for my new flat, plus a surprisingly powerful Vax handheld vacuum and a cable tidy box.

Nice flat mate! ;)

Kettle toaster fail.. We have the white version, kettle takes weeks to boil and toaster only does one side right! :(

Having murder with the missus as I want to replace them as they are crap. But she says they look nice, I agree they do. But they bloody useless in day to day use!

I weep that you can get that entire flat for £700 a month.

Down in London we have to put with with landlords asking that much for place like this

In Japan the bed would be half way up the wall above the door. Sofa where the bed is. The kitchen would be the first thing you step into through the door.

My mate had a flat like that in Osaka.

I've been trying to get some inspiration from Japanese living recently. The flat I'm living in at the moment doesn't really have space for a double bed all the time, so I've resorted to using a sofa bed so I can turn it into a living space during the day.

Granted it's a very nice sofa bed with a memory foam mattress that converts into a king size bed, but it cost more than triple what my car is worth and it isn't quite the same as a dedicated bed, plus it would be kind of nice to have a separate bedroom.

Odd, we have the white ones too - the kettle boils quickly and the toaster is very good "defrost" also works like a dream

The only problem I have is that the Mrs insists on the toaster being "sideways" so the levers / dials are at the side and I want them facing me - out from the worktop

"It looks better that way" - yes but it is also a PITA to use that way on

I have just had to skip one of those bins. Be careful pushing stuff into it, the male part of the clip that secures the lid has no guard around it and breaks off quite easily :(

you do realise that the bins have about a 10 year warranty on them? This happened to ours and a quick email to Brabantia and they sent out a new lid.

Or could just get one of these for less than £2 to repair http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-replace...414?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9fb4358e

Don't tell me you skipped a £60+ bin just for that!!

Sony RX100 M3. Purchased used from local camera store. It was traded-in by someone buying some massive lens; mint condition, boxed, along with a second sony battery, wall charger, filter adapter, hoya pro UV filter, and sony grip. £349

Got the same white set, I agree with you on the toaster, its ok but does one side more than the other.
But the kettle is fine, I think you must have a faulty kettle because ours takes like under 2 minutes to boil a full kettle of water.
