Nice flat mate! ;)

Kettle toaster fail.. We have the white version, kettle takes weeks to boil and toaster only does one side right! :(

Having murder with the missus as I want to replace them as they are crap. But she says they look nice, I agree they do. But they bloody useless in day to day use!

Sadly, I must echo this sentiment. They look great but our DeLonghi toaster is rubbish.

Ready for the 3 year hard graft. Starting my degree in September.

Yeah I had a small problem with the clip on my Brabantia, sometimes it refused to close (not snapped off or anything). If it does it again I will prob email em see if they can send me a replacement clip or something.

Dude, these bins are hideously expensive. I couldn't believe the price when I had to buy one last year. They're good quality but RRP is insane.

Got my 50ltr Brabantia from Amazon for £50 in one of their daily deals - less than half the price of a local one.

To be fair they are very well made (apart from common issue with clip) and as others have said the 10 year warranty is good too. We've had ours best part of 10 years now and still looks new.

@DJMK4

Heya, I'm a network engineer working for a managed service, cloud, hosting company

Yeh already have the CCNA R&S so doing my CCNP routing and switching now.. Been putting it off for years as I was always busy. Tried to study it in 2013 I think then but they changed the exam so had to study the new revision lol.

I'm actually glad I sat the new revisions as it got rid of some of the unneeded not on topic of CCNA and brought in more of what should be learnt

Cool good luck hope it goes well

I self study, stuff I do for work, then videos, GNS3 labs, books for referencing and found material online, aswel as practise stuff I already know.

What do you do? Doing it through work?

Sounds like a pretty cool job. Is it well paid - if you don't mind me asking?

So what does your day-to-day work involve? I work for a University, so I mainly do patching, configuring, installing switches, firewalls, DHCP administration etc. Nothing too high-level at the minute.

I'm just going through the videos now. I also have the book on order. Oh, and yeah - through work. I'm hoping to have it by the end of the year.

Cheers

Nice! Their smaller brother the BX1 are on sale at RS for £100 as well.

What setup did you have previously? The BX2 has a decent bass response tbh, I'm sure you are enjoying them!

I had - and still do have till I get them on MM - Edifier S730's, but the sub is just too large for my new bedroom and the added Airplay with these is a great bonus. They're a great sounding speaker these and have more than enough power by themselves... for now. :p

A refuse collector is doing his rounds and notices one house in the street that doesn't have a wheelie-bin outside.
So he goes to the door and knocks. After a few minutes, a man comes to the door.
"Where's your bin?" the refuse collector asks.
"I bin upstairs," the man replies.
"No! Where's your dustbin?" he says.
"I dust bin upstairs havin' a poo," the guy says.
"NO! WHERE'S YOUR WHEELIE-BIN?" he continues.
The old man thinks for a minute then says:
"Okay, you got me, I've wheelie bin having a toss."

Looks very nice dude sure you'll be happy there! :D

This is mine, I bought it 2 years ago but never posted any pics here. This is a Coach House, aka. flat above garages. I own the freehold with the 2 left side garages belonging to other properties on the development, which lease them from me.

Looks good that pal. I need to get myself a decent TV and sound system like yourself because this currently feels like watching TV on a calculator.

Odd, we have the white ones too - the kettle boils quickly and the toaster is very good "defrost" also works like a dream

The only problem I have is that the Mrs insists on the toaster being "sideways" so the levers / dials are at the side and I want them facing me - out from the worktop

"It looks better that way" - yes but it is also a PITA to use that way on

/firstworldproblems

Got the same white set, I agree with you on the toaster, its ok but does one side more than the other.
But the kettle is fine, I think you must have a faulty kettle because ours takes like under 2 minutes to boil a full kettle of water.

Sadly, I must echo this sentiment. They look great but our DeLonghi toaster is rubbish.

Quite nervous about the Toaster now, but hoping that Amazon support will work their usual magic if I have any trouble. At the moment I don't have any bread.
