Shame! sorry to hear that. I presume you've looked at all the options before selling up so I'll just say hopefully you get some spare time soon :)

And time it sounds like!

It is time consuming. Especially in this country - you can go to a DZ on a Friday night, sleep in a tent (yay(!)) get up feeling rough, spend a small fortune on crap food and a few slots for the plane. Wait for the weather to clear and either get 2-3 jumps in because the weather is amazing the DZ is crowded, or get no jumps in because the weather is bad. So you either then stay to socialise or head home. Either way that's a day of the weekend gone. To maximise your jumping you want to stay 2 days - and the costs clock up too.

As a result I spent most of my time jumping abroad where it's cheaper and the weather is pretty much guaranteed. One holiday in 10 days I managed nearly 80 jumps, and that included a few days out doing other things. Problem is that costs too. I have other hobbies and interests, and well something had to give, and jumping out of planes was one of them. I would have had to sacrifice cars, motorbikes, holidays and so on as a result which I wasn't willing to do!

Wow. Please use google.

Read the thread! I have already said I genuinely had no idea the were retro audio fans into this stuff, but boy am I glad that the are as I have just sold my Iron Maiden LPs and will be using the money to get the new 24bit .flac versions :D

Does a screenshot of a file browser count as an image of something you bought? lol.

some upgrades arrived today. Still need to get some cables, as no DP on current GPUs. but tested already on mDP on my laptop and the screen is rather nice.

That looks pretty nice, can you let me know the model so I can get one?

Sure... good "mini0806" and I'm sure you'll find it.

Just be a little careful about re-sellers as some may still be selling older revisions and you want the newest one +there seem to be a couple of knock-offs.

But from a reputable ebay seller or rainforest prime seller (like I did the latter) then you'll be good.

Pillars of creation canvas print. Only £20 from someone on facebook and it turned out great. I'm thinking of getting some more from her.

Good finish? Last canvas I got from Tesco Photo (I will not be using them again) and the blacks are quite a bit washed out. Still like the image, but the print turned out a bit blocky (almost a bit pixelated) and washed out... despite a very good quality image of the Carina Nebula :)

I wouldn't mind getting a couple more Canvases printed up... what size is that for £20 and does she do other sizes?

Lets do this properly this time :P

New joystick to try and get into a combat sim game - was hard enough convincing the others in the house that my "Thrustmaster" was not something 18+.

In the background, new logitech z120 speakers hooked up to my headphone toggle switch. Not bad for their size either!

The finish in my opinion looks very good. This is my first canvas print so I can't say whether or not it's really good quality because I haven't had others to compare it to.

The size is 29.5x19.5" and she also has a 3 for £50 offer. This is the only price she has posted on facebook although she does do other sizes. Unfortunately she will only deliver to the local area I'm not sure if she posts the prints although her posts suggest she does.

Fitbit Charge HR - found that I could get it through my private healthcare provider for even cheaper than I thought.

Finding it interesting so far - not sure on how accurate it is in terms of calculating calories etc... However, using the basic information you programme into it, it seems to be within 10% or so.

It is just a gadget, but since I'm quite interested in health and lifestyle it'll just help me geek it up a little with relation to it. :)

Out of interest who is your private healthcare provider? May need to find out if mine does something similar (I'm with Cigna).

Sounds pretty good - mind if I ask which region or if you could share a link to her offer please?

Thanks :)

Last set of E10s died after 3 years of use. Couldn't find any cheaper ones so got a set of JVC Extreme in ear ones which are too heavy on the bass, even when you mess around with the equalizers.

A day after I see E10s going for £19.99! So I had to buy them. Also been using my LG G2 for music but it's too big and scared I might break it in the gym so got this MP3 player. Used to have the Sandisk Fuze and Sansa Clip but they have been discontinued. The new Sandisk MP3 players are overpriced for what they are.
